That is just rude.
Liquor is like fine dinning.
Consumed slowly, never overindulge , savor every sip.
We are merely sampling a wide assortment of tastes and flavors, spanning several different cultures.

You misunderstand, I was refering to you when I said "Texas." That is your screen name, if you'll notice. As for the recipe for Suicide, it's very simple. There are two ways I know of to make it and an almost infinite number of ingredients you can use. The first is to take at least half a dozen of the strongest drinks you have and mix them. The second really only applies to bartenders and the hosts of parties. Take all the leftover drinks and pour them all together. You can also use these methods with non-alcoholic drinks, though most refer to the non-alcoholic variation as Tsunami. I've heard of bartenders using the second method to dispose of leftover drinks for years, dating back to the old saloons in the Wild West, which would be about perfect for the time period of Bon Bon, then selling it for a nickle or so. (for those of you who've read Stephen King's "The Dark Tower" series, you'll recognize the second method from the fourth book) _________________ Silentium est aurum

I feel down right stupid for not realizing it.

My sister just got home from the hospital today.
She tried to commit suicide with an overdose of asprin and prescription pills.( this all happened last Monday)
When she got home she seemed to be her old self.
But then she wanted to go to a friends house.(that may or may not be what she really had planned)
My parients said no at the last minute, which is understandable given the situation.
But it did not go over well with my sister, she had a bit of a tantrum.
My Parents being the clueless idiots that the are, continued to agitate my sister by refusing to leave her room and to talk down to her.
Things were escalating to the point that my parents were considering sending her back to the psych hospital(she could hear them talk about sending her back)
I had to intervene.
Things have calmed a bit now. _________________ Dallas"Wildcat"Swagger--->Fursona |

hmm, delicate situation. not a good thing to leave a person in that state alone, but you need to keep a certain submissive presence in order to keep them calm. you really don't want to dominate them or it can push them further towards the edge and that is not good. _________________

thank you. i don't claim to be an expert, i'm in no way trained to handle such situations, but common sense tells me that they need someone to lean on, so you want to be there, listen to them, don't force anything. and that includes things like saying "you don't want to do this" because you'll only start an argument. ask them why they want to do it then find reason for them not to do it, even simple reasons; they're usually the best cos they are more likely, such as friends who care, still things in life that can be done. it's not really that hard to just be a friend to talk to and have listen to how you feel. _________________

Another man of spirit! It's good to have you aboard, my friend!
If we're mixing drinks, perhaps I can get you to come up with something for me.
My preferred base is scotch or whiskey, little peat if we're mixing, perhaps a date heavy blend from Japan or Canada. Nothing fruity, if you don't mind, but something to soften out the edges and sweeten it up a bit? _________________ Ewan's Golden Glass

now we wait for the pills i put in your milk to kick in _________________ wondering where the jackal came from: http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7940 updates here or there

I didn't realize you were a fellow barkeeper and you even own a pub , its a pleasure to meet you.
Can I get an application to work at your pub?
I feel you have much to teach me.
And for your request, the answer is yes. I will gladly write up a drink recipe for you.
Im going to make a new thread sometime this weekend, its gonna have all the custom drinks I've made for others; ill be sure to include you're drink. _________________ Dallas"Wildcat"Swagger--->Fursona |

Okay dumb question... a bartender "runs" the bar... a brewer makes beer... a vintor makes wine... but what is the actual liquor maker called? A distiller? |

That is not a dumb question at all, I'm happy to answer it.
A distiller is a proper term that refers to a person or company that produces hard liquor such as whiskey, vodka, and gin. _________________ Dallas"Wildcat"Swagger--->Fursona |

Well, that doesn't sound to contradictory to me. I would think a bartender in a rough town should be a good shot. After all, you wouldn't want to be a terrible aim and shoot your innocent customers because of some jerk causing trouble. You'd lose your business and possibly get sent to jail or hanged for shooting innocents all before your liscense expires. _________________ Oh, I'd tell myself

I've been slowly updating my fursona,
I just happened to come across this video that bares a remarkable resemblance to what my character would look like when on the job as a flair bartender (has a cowboy style )
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oqh2Etqmrc8&feature=related
(video has no sound) (you will have to skip the first 20sec)
it's actually pretty humorous.
I was wanting to get some feedback on this from everyone. _________________ Dallas"Wildcat"Swagger--->Fursona |

flair bartenders are primiarly used for entertainment and advertising, thats what the routines are for. If you just ask for a drink at a regular bar , the bartender wont do anything fancy unless you ask. _________________ Dallas"Wildcat"Swagger--->Fursona |
