Cass has the white swirlies on her fur.

Her nipples are also peirced. Not her labia though, just the nipples.

And Haley, my American friend, has a fursona that grew up in a tribe where if you were female you got a bramble tattoo around your abdomen as a sign of loss of virginity. Her fursona also has a tattoo on her upper thigh that looks like a garter.

She explained that the tribe had used dyes that permenently dyed the fur, and went down to the skin so that the fur that grew in would be also in that color.

So yeah.

In a bout of true fanboyism, my original draft up for Ewan had many Boondock Saints tattoos "Veritas" and "Aequitas" printed up his arms.

But in the end, I decided that Ewan was a being of impulse and pleasure, but also of professionalism and that A) he wouldn't need such reminders to live his life and B) it wouldnt be fitting for the brand ambassador of a highly respected distillery to be bedecked in ink and rakish jewelry.

This is sort of funny actually, because in real life I have a few piercings (two rings in the left eyebrow and two matching rings through the top of my left ear) as well as a tattoo of a question mark on the inside of my left wrist and a large shoulder piece of the "Drama Masks" surrounded by representations for literature, music, and art.

well while we are onto rl tattoos i was wondering how it would look to have a black wing (like sephiroths of course) that starts at the shoulder blade and wraps around the owners torso and ends at about the hip so it looks he has the wing folded around him of course it would take ages, cost lots and hurt like buggery but i cant help thinking it would look awesome

Labrn has no piercings or tattoos. The only thing close to a marking/tattoo he has is not going to be a part of the Bon Bon universe. In my own story, there are supernatural powers about, psychic powers, advanced alien techonolgy, etc. (For those who haven't seen Bucky O'hare...do)

If you look under my gallery on FA, the "Judicator" or "Final Labrn," he has a mark on the left cheek. This is a seal, as Labrn is treated as a great battery of power/souls. As the ceremonial Guardian of his kind, for every one that falls, a bit of them becomes a part of him (held within the gems and bound to his soul) and gains their experiences, memories, and powers. This is of coarse, a bit overwhelming, so the seal helps to stabilize and hold back such overwhelming forces within his mind, but if the seal is activated, the seal is broken and Labrn would pretty much become a raging mindless automaton from the thousands of voices of his kindred all talking in his mind at once, unless all were focused, such as "the enemy" of their kind, in which case such focus of psychic powers and abilities...well, for those who are familiar with the 40k universe (warhammer) you'd get powers to rival that of the Man God Emporer on his golden throne.

But anyways, that's not relevant to the Bon Bon universe, so I'm afraid Labrn is clean. ^_^

When I considerate Catherine love for jewels, I see her having some piercings. She had her ears and nipples pierced but oddly, I imagine her wearing some overly discreet rings that can be hide by her fur when she works. I think that a bellybutton piercing could fit too but I see her wear something small that can stay unnoticeable when she wear a well fighting dress and not make a annoying sensation when she wear a corset. I doubt that add the feeling of a piece of metal poke in your stomach should be added to the pain to wear a corset that already make breathing difficult. For the tattoo, I don't see her wear any.

Well ear cropping for some dogs is a form of body modifycation.

So my fursona has had his ears croped.

If I had stuck to my original description of Tadelesh, he would have a red tattoo on the back of his neck in the shape of a heart. However, I didn't really want to bring that into the new Tadelesh for some reason. Tadelesh's stripes were originally black (a different shade to the rest of his fur, but he turned them white and silver through a permanent illusion (he was a Mage). However, I decided to just make them supposedly natural.

I'm not a huge fan of tattoos really, unless they are elegantly done and for a deeper reason than looking "hard" or something.

Piercings I'm in two minds on. Certain piercings in certain places suit certain people and don't suit others. Belly-button piercings, though, I think nearly always look great on women. I agree that a diamond or pearl would look great adorning Mystic's abdomen.
