three actually, you forgot Gantros. but imo no. I think they're mostly vestigial. Scarlet maybe, but only because she is actually a vampire. _________________ My Fursona(updates occasionally) http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7537

I think that bats need their wings. With avians, you can easily see that they are bids. They have beaks and feathers, so they look pretty different from the rest of the characters. Bats don't really look that different from any other species, if you remove their wings. I don't think that Crimson or Gantros would be easily recognizable as bats if they didn't have their wings. So I think that they need their wings to help distinguish them. Whether that means that they can actually fly, I don't know. I guess it could seem weird if bats can fly and avians can't, but I haven't really thought that much about this, aside from how they visually look.
If I have to guess, I'd say that they can fly, but we haven't seen anything in the comic to support this. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

When we evoleved from our ferrel bretheren, we have lost some of our wild abbilitys when we came to our erectus state. such as the avians and the bats lost of flight do to the gain of weight and bone density that our current size required for basic liveing. But the jelusy of his feral cussins has inspired meny bats and birds in the path of enventing flying devices that may one day match or even surpast that of the ferrel.

I can't really see bats flying around in Bon Bon. I could make an exception for Scarlet since she is a vampire, which is a different lore and separate from the story. _________________
