It's approximately 7 foot tall, with many layers all highly decorated with swirls of icing and brightly-coloured sprinkles. A sign sits near it which simply reads Surprise!

While everyone was distracted with the cake, Chessy managed to sneak up behind them, holding an oversized candle under one arm. With the effortless silence and grace felines are noted for, she burst into a sprint before leaping into the air, over the heads of the small crowd and indeed, the cake itself, vanishing from view as the large confection dwarfed her.
Those not too distracted by this extravagant show of agility would have noticed that, mid-leap, Chessy had stuck the candle she had been holding into the top layer of the cake, an over-the-top finish to an over-the-top cake.
She emerged from behind the cake with a grin on her face (and a blob of icing on her nose from where she'd bitten into the back of the cake, unable to resist the sugary goodness
"Surprise, Chessy's back!" she exclaimed happily.
((What, you didn't expect Chessy to be so predictable as to jump out of the cake, did you? ))
