How many have a fursona with one or more tattoos or piercings?

I know that there are a couple of female avatars with ear rings, but have about belly button piercings? Anyone who have considered that?

With the number of rougher male fursonas appearing, I'm surprised that we aren't seeing anyoen with a piercing in their eyebrow, for example.

Or how about piercings in the more intimate areas?

I'm personally not into most piercings, and neither is Constance. The only ones that I, and therefore her as well, would find appealing are simple earrings.

Tattoos are something else. Again I'm not sure how many fursonas here have them. We know that there are characters in the comic that have tattoos. Yet I haven't seen any big muscular males around here with tribal tattoos or the kind that resembles an armband on the biceps.

No females with a tattoo on the lower back? Is it due to the way suck tattoos are seen, or because of how the members here don't like tattoos?

Or is it because many would consider it weird because of the fur? I've read an explanation once, where the tattoos on furry characters were in fact supposed to be done using a technique that colored the fur. So the tattoo pattern wouldn't actually be caused by the traditional means we know of, but rather a sort of permanent/long-lasting hair dye. I personally like that idea.

Constance doesn't have any tattoos though, as I prefer her with a natural and soft look. Her fur, hair and eyes are all shades of brown, and I don't want any contrasting colors, aside from her clothes and jewelry, of course. Besides, she's just not the kind of girl who gets tattooes, regardless of how they are made.

my fursona has a basic fang shaped ear ring in his left ear

as for tattos well i was going to give him one but i decide not to as i didnt know if tattoos existed in the 1800 century un till i saw reds tattoo in the comic.

As far as i know Constance, jewelry was looked at as feminine accessory, and proper men didn't wear it, with the exception of a ring, or in the case of a sailor who had his ship blown out from under hi, a plain gold loop earring. As a result i think that mentality from the period carries on into most of the characters.

Lidia likes jewelry ( and other shiny, pretty, object ) but she only like to wear necklaces, bracelets, and earrings, nothing more.

Lidia is not into belly button, eyebrows, or any other body parts Jewelry. The same goes for tattoo.

Just let you guys know before someone say it, The "S" on Lidia's back is her birthmark. She was born with it.

I don't know about the time period and which piercings might have neen in use then. I haven't really given any thought to it. I guess it's up to Vanessa what's acceptable, but to me personally, regarding something as insignificant as piercings, I wouldn't worry too much about being historically correct.

I have been thinking of haveing Evan get a tattoo on his right shoulder as part of an RP do to the fact that tattoos are very common in the english army. But i havent done so yet do two to factors, i couldn't think of what kind of image to have tattooed on him, and i couldnt think of how to pull it off with Evan's fear of needels.

The mark over Brandon's left eye is a tribal marking to show his crossing into adulthood......the fur was shaved, and the mark was burned into his skin, then treated with plant extracts to encourage new fur growth, and to make the regrowing fur turn white. This is only done to the males, females have a mark tattooed onto their chests.

I'm extraordinarily thankful for the near to no piercings and tattoos. I think of them as hideous in addition to being a tiresome cry for attention. If you need to punch holes in yourself to be different from everyone else, there obviously isn't anything of actual substance to differentiate you, is there?

hmm i hadn't given much thought to tattoos (apart from the symbol of his organization on his chest) and that i have a few i reckon would be awesome because i always wanted to get them for myself

1. black wing which runs from the shoulder blade and sits over the chest as if it is folded around him.

2. a set of tongue peircings along the tongue, something liek four or five in line along the middle (i have more than enough room to spare)

3. the three headed Cerberus covering the entire back with the heads lined up along the shoulders and neck

as far as reasons for tattoos go they have many meaning aside from a cry for attention they can be a symbol of something so important to you that you wanted it branded into your flesh such as a reminder of something significant that happened in your life or like the new zealander deasigns which map out their geneology, even just a symbol of the passage into man hood (the bearing of pain as a show of strength). to put it simply they are not always just some wankers way of looking different though certainly in many cases it is

Stone doesn't have any deliberate piercings or tattoos, but he's survived a boiler explosion that left one ear holed and notched, scars over much of the rest of him, and almost half his face paralyzed. That's why in the Aces picture he's wearing a half-smile, the rest of his face is immobile. Fortunately for him he not only didn't lose his right eye but maintained enough muscle control to blink and close it.

I wasn't sure if I wanted Constance to wear earrings. I left that to Vanessa to decide, and I think she made the right decision. As a mare, Constance's ears probably aren't made for earrings. It might look odd with some dangling earrings, when her ears are pretty much on top of her head, and not on the sides like many others. This actually wasn't my initial reason for not deciding myself whether she should wear earrings. I simply wasn't sure if I wanted any part of her body to be pierced.

Well, I did want something sparkly in that area, which is why she wears a bellychain. And because it's sexy, of course. I'm really happy with the look of it, and the ankle chain and other jewelry as well. I guess that the jewelry, and the small area of darker fur, is my way of adorning her body.

Relating to tattooes and piercings, we might include stripes and other fur patterns as well. Constance doesn't have any, aside from the small patch of dark fur above her sex. Your avatar, Lidia, has some interesting ones. I particularly liek the S on her back.

I think my reason for having my character have a mark on her fur is because I love seeing a character with very unique markings on his/her fur/skin.

And I guess my reason for choosing the letter "S" for her is because is the first letter of my Chinese Zodiac, "Snake." ^^!

I had thought of writing a story of her "S" on her back and the meaning behind it, but I'm not good at telling or writing a story, so I can only say that she was born with the "S" her back. ^^!
