|
|
This is something that happened to me an hour ago!
I was cutting some lime to squeeze some of the juice on some papaya fruit I was going to eat. I hadn't noticed the knife I had used was somewhat covered in oil (I honestly don't know why it was covered in oil). After I finished cutting the limes I was about to wash the knife in a kitchen sink that was right next to me because it was all covered in lime juice. As I was about to wash the knife it slipped off of my hand and I tried to catch it with my left hand. I caught it, but unfortunately not by the handle. About 1 or 2 seconds later I felt something stinging my hand, and as I looked at the knife I realized I had cut myself since the blade was a bit covered in blood. But that wasn't all, the juice on the knife had gone into the small wound I had noticed in between my index and middle fingers. It started stinging a lot, so much that I sarcastically said to myself, "it stings SO GOOD!" After I washed my hand and put on a bandage I cleaned the mess I left after this little incident. A few seconds later I went to my living to enjoy my sour papaya fruit!
Haha, I started laughing at myself while I was eating and that is why I decided to share this little incident. I mean how dumb was I to catch a knife by the blade haha, boy was that dumb but unfortunately I wasn't thinking of that when I caught the knife! Oh well, I learned my lesson, hehe! _________________ If there is a obstacle in your path SMASH IT WITH THE POWER OF BELIEVING THAT YOU CAN DO DO IT! |

I use to work at restaurant and sometimes I would cut lemons in half to make lemonade. And sometimes I used to do it while I wasn't looking so I would usually give myself small cuts on my hands which were a bit covered in lemon juice. Boy was that GOOD, even though it kind of hurt a little bit, hehe! _________________ If there is a obstacle in your path SMASH IT WITH THE POWER OF BELIEVING THAT YOU CAN DO DO IT! |

This sounds similar what my friend did. He rubbed sandpaper all over his hand then dunked it in a bucket of lime juice. _________________ My DA & FA

No, he just can't feel anything. He got hit in the head with a bat when he was a kid. He told me that the doctors said it permenantly damaged his nervous system, so now he can't feel anything below the base of his skull. It is very sad.
And to Rautor, nothing, he did it as a party trick. _________________ My DA & FA

Its alright. He doesn't take offense to stuff like that. He normally says "Well if we both get shot, you'll be on the ground crying in pain, and I'll be running to the hospital." _________________ My DA & FA

wow, thats a hell of a story.
Now, I don't know about cutting myself and then getting lime juice in it. When I was a little kid, my nana used to have a lime tree in her front yard and I would pick limes from it every time we visited. One time I accidently crushed a lime and got the juice all over my hands. I didn't think anything of it. But when you get lime juice on your hands, and then let your hands burn in the sun......Whoa, does it sting like a mother. _________________ Alain Daishar Profile: http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8174&highlight= |

Feeling the sting of the lime feels almost equivelant to tasting the thing itself, strange as that may sound. _________________

WOW, I really hope nothing like that ever happens to you again Mr Dragonfly!
I remember when I was a little kid a this really heavy bicycle fell on my knee after I fell off of it making a hole the size of a quarter coin in it!
The really hurt, I still remember all the blood that came out! _________________ If there is a obstacle in your path SMASH IT WITH THE POWER OF BELIEVING THAT YOU CAN DO DO IT! |

I hope that ligament is better now, Mr Adept!
It really sucks when you get an injury on any part of your legs doesn't it, its simply one the most horrible things that can happen. I wish our bodies were made of steel or something sturdier! _________________ If there is a obstacle in your path SMASH IT WITH THE POWER OF BELIEVING THAT YOU CAN DO DO IT! |

I would have to say the worst thing that happened to me was a compound fracture in my right leg. *sigh* You think your hurt bad, but it only gets worse when you see your bone sticking out of your body. _________________ My DA & FA
