((For those who have followed the back story, you know that it ends with Samuel's arrival to Bon Bon. As a quick summary for those of you who hadn't read the back story: Samuel Dunn was raised in an order of assassins, trained to be the perfect killer. During his time in service, he was known under the alias Wraith. Tragedy strikes the order and Samuel is ordered to move to Bon Bon for his own protection. On his way to the town, he gets a letter informing him that the last of his brethren had fallen.))

The carriages had finally reached Bon Bon. It was time for Samuel to stretch his legs. The driver opened the door and let him out. The first sight for any onlookers were the black dress shoes, as well as the lower portion of the sleek black dress pants. As he stood up and stepped out, people could see the black sports coat over a dark gray shirt, accented by a blood-red silk tie. It was fitting attire for the young adult tiger. His fur was jet black, with dark red stripes. Even the fur that was generally white was a dark shade of gray.

He looked around with his unusual eyes. His sclera, the white of the eye, were black, with red irises. His dress suggested elegance, but his demeanor at present bespoke of being lost and confused.

So, this is Bon Bon. I suppose I should find a hotel before I search for a house. Now if only I could find someone to ask for help...

Samuel's thoughts were interrupted when he noticed the castle nearby. If there would be anyone to ask, it sure seemed the place. So, he started walking towards the Delight Castle.

(very well, but its worth noting that i have a headache right now, and it is kinda late wher i am, so i'll most likly be retiring for the night after making this post. i will set you up for an introduction to my character however....)

"hmm, lot of people willing to throw there hard earned money away" marx thought as he eyed the gambling hall of the casino, he had spent the past hour or so watching some poor bastard lose his money at the tables and was currently watching him throw the last of it away

"not a very intelligible man is he, he doesnt seem to learn from his misstakes, else he would have quit while he was ahead.... bah, this bores me, lets go see what sorta trouble i can get myself into"

he proceeded to the front entrance and was greated by the midday sun, as well as a sizable crowd of people "ech, i hate crowds" he mumbled to himself

one figure however stuck out, that of a black tiger with red stripes "hmm, interesting. not a common coloring for most individuals" he muttered

as the figure continued to aproach he could make out the eyes, black with red irises "now that, aint normal" he siad out loud as the figure aproached him

"i think my day just took an interesting turn" he thought

As Samuel drew closer to the castle, the crowds seemed to pick up. He noticed someone staring and had heard the comment at his approach.

"Indeed, good sir, I am anything but normal. However, I am Samuel Dunn." He said with a bow. "I'd be much obliged if you could help me with a few matters, if you have the time for it, that is."

"Another time, then, my dear," said Ewan over his shoulder as he left the castle Bon Bon, readjusting his tie.

"Ah, it's a new day already. Suppose time flies when you're having fun," said the otter to himself with a chuckle. He reached to his back pocket, feeling for his bronze flask. He unscrewed the cap and smiled at the aroma of fine whiskey that greeted him.

As he downed a quick swig, he srewed the cap back up and pulled his pocket watch out. "My my, it's earlier then I thought it was. Pub won't need openin' for some time now. I wonder what dear Bon Bon can provide this poor otter 'till then."

He glanced around a little bit before settling on an acquaintance of his. "'Allo there, Marx," said the otter with a wave, greeting the raven. "How's the day treating you?"

Ewan's turned to the newcomer. "Ah, excuse me, mate. I don't think I've had the pleasure. I'm Ewan Bushmill, I run the Golden Glass pub in town here. If I'm not mistaken, I've never seen those stripes 'round Bon Bon before. If I'm right, then welcome," said Ewan as he smiled politely and extended a hand to the tiger.

Henk had a day off. His day at Scorpia's mansion was over for now, he could now join go the delight caslte to play some pool, dance with some girls, scear some man, look to the losers who camble there last money and maybe some fighting. But the fighting would not come to him, after the fight with Apachi and his demonstration of his skills what resulted in the death of almost every know criminal in bonbon against the slavers, the guards keep a close eye on him and others tried to avoid him.

Henk where his normal clothes ( see my clothes of my avatar in the Four acces suite) and his katana. Then he noticed Ewan, the otter of the bar where he had sing a song that started to get common when he entered the bar. Also there was Max and a black- red striped tiger.

"Goodevening, Max, Ewan. Who are you, I think I have seen you before? Are you here because of the fight of Scorpia and the Slavers ?" Henk smilled, but stood ready to act. Sins the big fight he, Crimson, Lidia, James, Scorpia and Apachi where a big item in bonbon, some girls wanted to know who it was to be a Mistress or some male wanted to know how the life was of a 'slave'. Some one wanted to spar with them, but a look at the gravejard, what was increased, made some to stop. But also some wanted some lessons of him or wanted to know if they could borrow him from Scorpia.

Seems the new face draws a lot of attention. At least there haven't been any offers from the ladies, I still don't feel worthy of their company.

Samuel thought to himself as the small crowd developed.

"Pardon me a second, Mr. Bushmill." He said to the otter before turning to the cobra, who he felt was looking for a fight.

"Dear sir, I would have you know that I am only just arrived and with no intent of quarrels. Not to mention that I have no idea who this Scorpia is, nor do I have knowledge of any slavers. Now I bid you good day, sir, as I have more pressing matters to which I need to attend to." Samuel finished and returned his attention to Ewan.

"Sorry about that, sir. I suppose it is only fair that I introduce myself as well. I am Samuel Dunn, and you are correct that I am new in town. If I may ask, does your pub offer lodging as well? Having just arrived, I am in need of a place to rest my head this evening."

well, henks gone and shot his mouth of agian, no surprise there... still this newcomer looks like he might be a good fighter, perhaps i should intervene before something.... unfortunate happens.

"Mr. Dunn, you'll have to forgive henk, he tends to go around shoting his mouth off, once you get to know him however he's really quite harmless, and a nice enough guy"

"you mentioned something about helping you with a few matters. i do, in fact, have the time for it today. so if you want, i will assist as much as i am able"

"Well, my good sir, I am not offended in the least, I understand I have a rather unique appearance. As for Henk, it is not my wish for any violence, especially in my opportunity for a first impression. However, I am also not very tolerant of accusations without basis." Samuel explained. "Now, for my business. As you may have heard, I do seek lodgings for the evening, but I will also need assistance in procuring a more permanent residence. I can offer you payment for your troubles, be it monetary or a trinket from my collection. Do you think you could help me with these matters?"

hmm, well im sorry to inform you that, since im new to this town myself, i dont know of many places to secure more permenent residence. however, for temporary dwelling one might suggest the casino" marx pointing his thumb at the castle behind him. "the rates are somewhat high, but they do offer certian benefits" he siad as he eyed a couple of women heading inside.

"if your interested, i could set you up with a room for a week, or so. the only thing i ask is for a look at this 'trinket collection' of yours."

Henk was hoping that he could have a pool game or 2 and some drinks.

Samuel turned to address Henk, "You mentioned your trouble being with slavers? Perhaps we should talk more on that once inside."

Perhaps it is my art in death that will finally bring about my redemption, after all. To think I was about to come here under an assumed name, after what The Mask had explained of my current one. "Your real name is Samuel, taken as a variation of Sama'el, the angel of death"

Before losing himself in his thoughts, He returned to his other companion, "You know, good sir, it occurs to me that I still have been without the pleasure of your name. But I would like to take you up on the arrangement of a room at the castle, let's make it for a fortnight(two weeks), if possible. Even if I were to be with a house before the week is out, I'd still be without the adequate furnishings of a real home. I'd also like to pass on the extra company for now, as I have a lot on my mind that I need to sort out, which would be easier if I were alone. I thank you for your assistance ,however the payment will have to wait until my collection has been unpacked, for I have many other belongings that bar my access to it at the present." Samuel paused, gesturing towards the two laden carriages a short ways up the street. "I would also offer you the use of the room should I be without the need for it before the end of the reservation. Now, if you gentleman would be so kind to accompany me, I believe we now have some business to attend to within the castle."

"ah, your right, how rude of me, Marx Emanuel, at your service. as for your room, a fortnight sounds reasonable, i shall contact the proper people about it once we are inside. if you'll allow Henk, Ewan, and myself to lead the way we should be able to find a place to relax and discuss these matters"

"But Marx has the right idea, normally one with any amount of money can find a way to spend it at the Delight Castle. I've found myself there on several different occasions. If you need any help getting accustomed to this place, I'd be happy to join you for a little while and help out."

((I can live with waiting, gives me time to decide if Henk has implied an offer that would lead Samuel into the fray of the Mistress and the Male slaves. I should hope he did not do so without consulting his mistress. I know I wouldn't want any slave of mine to have too much liberty. It also leads to a bit of a debate. On one hand, it would be a chance at redemption, but on the other, it would be hard to justify why he brought all of his weapons if he had given up the life of the assassin. He would still have the talwar, though, but more as an heirloom. It is also worth mentioning that Samuel is NOT at present wearing it, as he felt it would not be fitting for a first impression. I had also left out the type of tiger that Samuel is, though it would really only be of concern for anyone attempting a drawing of him. I'm leaning towards Malayan, as the Malay Peninsula would not be too far away from India for a boat ride, and so it would be feasible for his great-grandfather and/or great-grandmother to have originally been from there.))

(I must have been getting tired, as I didn't happen to see Wallstreet's post before mine, and as for anyone joining, feel free. As a new face in town, I'd enjoy getting a chance for some RP time with just about everyone, it is always great fun)

"Very well, my friends, I shall follow your lead. Perhaps we could gather ourselves a table for a few drinks, my treat." Samuel offered, preparing to enter the castle.

As much as I enjoy my present company, I should hope to have a moment alone soon, hopefully with a fire involved as this letter in my pocket is making me nervous. I'll feel a lot better when it's gone.

"You forget the girls, my red black stripped friend." But when they entered the lobby, a cat in a kimono walked to them and place her self in front of Henk.

"Euh hi, Sakura is there something?" Henk saw the neurtal look on her face and thought, Hell what now?.

Sakura looked at the cobra, she knew it had to be done. "sir, I have to ask you to give me your sword and I must chain you to you feet and hands. You can still play the games, but any fight that you get involved will result in you leaving of the castle for a week. Do you understand?" The cat look at the cobra, who gave his katana. When the chains where on, Sakura brought them to a table who gave a good view of the casino and play rooms.

A dailmation waitress came to them and asked what they wanted to drink "Whiskey with soda and ice, please."

"Hello, Sara, my dear," said Ewan with a grin as the dalmatian approached the table.

"Ewan, you cad, I could have sworn I saw Michelle escorting you to the door already once today. Are our services really that appealing to you?" said the maid with a friendly smile.

"Well, it's quite simply that we have a new arrival in town, Mr. Samuel Dunn here," replied the otter gesturing to the black and red tiger. "And this lot and I feel as though he deserved the full tour 'round town starting, of course, with the castle. For that drink order though, I think I'll request a glass of that 10 year Macallan's Ms. Dalila keeps trying to hide from me. She knows how I take it."

As Sara nodded politely, Ewan turned back to Samuel. "So, mate, you should know that the first law is not to ask where someone's from, nor to tell. But, I find myself interested in the people I meet. If you're comfortable sharing, I'd like to know what brings you to Bon Bon."

Samuel smiled at Ewan's question. "I knew someone would ask me about my past, Mr. Bushmill. Unfortunately, it is a bit of a subject of embarrassment and one I would like to avoid, for now." Samuel let out a sigh as he began to feel as Atlas, holding an immense weight on his shoulders.

They will need to know eventually, otherwise how could anyone be able to truly accept me? His mind wandered, as did his eyes, looking at some of the various ladies of the castle. Would any of them show me love if they knew what I was?

((Ok, so I am now at a point of conflict with Samuel. On one hand, I would like to have him go and aid Miss Scorpia, but in so doing, he would be forced to expose his past, because no one can kill people like he does without having done it before. At the same time, I like the notion of him being a mystery. He has a lot of money for seemingly no reason. His charm seems to keep anyone from really expecting it to be anything as bad as it really is. He makes friends, but when it comes to the ladies, he wants a deep relationship. Someone who would show enough concern that would actually accept him, even when confronted with his past, an idea that seems a bit out of place for the general attitudes of the comic.))
