Sometimes I read through some of everyone's RP at some point or another, and often I find them a good read, despite some of what may have been said (For me, that is absolutely zero comments I have made). Question is, does Vanessa ever use this kind of material in her work, or is it solely for the purpose of keeping the boards active? I'm fine either which way, I just needed some input on the matter.

I honestly couldn't tell you one way or another, however, I find that you can get some interesting ideas as to how your fursona will evolve from the details you start off with, to the kind of character you want to submit to Vanessa when the 6-month marker rolls around.

I am curious about it, though it would come together one way or another depending on how vanessa portrays us. If she has read some of our stories, it would probably relay some of that attitude through her comics.

i dont know about reading the RPs (i think she might be to busy for that)
but there was one time in a older thread(forget which one) in which ronald went and shot his mouth of and as payback vanessa made a "bonus" comic strip... i think it was on her DA profile, lemme' look for it

that shows you that vannesa takes into account what happens on the forums, but as far as the RP goes, i really think that she would be better off answering that question herself.

what shadow_T says is true though, it will help YOU to better understand your character, and therefore be better able to piant vannesa a picture for when it comes time for your custom avatar

I don't believe Vanessa has ever stated an interest in the roleplaying threads or the plots/stories in them. The forementioned bonus comic that Marx posted is indeed based on a conversation in the forums, but not one within an RP thread.

For the most part, I think she only pays attention to threads pertaining to the comic itself and her artwork, and she and Ronald tend only to use information placed in the "Custom avatar request list" threads when the time comes to create an avatar for a member. Pretty much all other RP and avatar-information threads are just for the forum members' own entertainment.

Johnny told it right in every part.
I don't speak english therefore for me is tiring to understand and translate everything that is being written in the forum, plus the time in which I can check it out is very short. Reading and translating all the RPs would keep me away from work for many hours.
When I get to the forum, once per day, I find a lot of new topics but I can't read them all, so I quickly look over the ones that Johnny named, related to the comic and the avatar list or the curiosities in which I'm called to answer, like this. If I were to read, and translate, all the topics I'd lose hours of work, I hope that you'll understand. This is why I always remind you to enter the list, other than opening new avatar description topics, since those move to the following page of the forum and I could forget them, while the sticky stay up on top and I can always check them out. So always update the avatar list as well, mind you, it's the one I mainly check.

I understand, and will take this as constructive feedback. To keep in mind that the stories we post are for our own benefit only is the main point I assume. Thank you for responding Vanessa, and to you Johnny for making it clear..
