As we have more and more people coming to Bon Bon with suggestions for what could be part of the town and general landscape, I think it would be a good idea to have a map of the town. Detailing Hotels, Churches, temples, shops, schools and other facilites. That way if if an RPG is set up specific routes to locations ect can be more accurate and exciting.
I think it would be fun to stroll through the streets of Bon Bon don't you? _________________ Terminus: http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=239198#239198

I think it's a good idea, and I've been thinking something similar. I was thinking of it when considering my fursona's house and where I'd like it to be.
The question is whether it would be problemtic for Vanessa, and it's really up to her what she'd like Bon Bon to look like. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

Well I believe Terry Pratchett had a similar problem, not wishing Anhk-morpork to be properly mapped and layed out.
He didn't want to be confined to ridged locations, perfering a more flexable geography.
But surely the map of Bon Bon would be in a state of flux any way as is any 'new' town as buildings and facilities are added or removed? _________________ Terminus: http://forums.pleasurebonbon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=239198#239198

I don't know.
I'd like to see a map of Bon Bon, but I'd understand if Vanessa prefers not to draw one.
It could be interesting to see a map with the locations from the story and perhaps even with the various homes and shops of the members. But then there might be problems with getting the map to fit with what Vanessa wishes to draw, and avoiding people trying the grap the good spots or trying to overdo each other with exotic ideas that don't really fit into the town. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

No not at all. I like your fursona and the occupation you've chosen.
It really wasn't aimed at anyone. It was just a thought about what might happen if people could just add whatever kind of building they wanted without regard to what kind of town Bon Bon is.
I still like the idea of a map of Bon Bon though. _________________ Constance Mayflower's bio

I, too, had thought about about having a map of the town and I think it is a good idea to have a map of BonBon.
Like Symphony say, it is up to Ms. Vanessa if she doesn't have too much stuff to handle. |

A map could possibly be a good idea, but the problems have already been stated. _________________ Wow, sarcasm! That's original. |

I think a map would be nice. I think a general map would be good. Just something too show where the general hot spots and land marks are, example would be Simon Blues mansion and the Delight Castle. _________________ I am what I am and proud to be who I am.

If it weren't too detailed, perhaps something that just highlighted the various districts of the town with a couple of landmarks thrown in pertaining to the story... If it were to get too detailed, with a whole grid of streets and buildings, it might become harder for Vanessa to expand upon the setting should the story head in that direction. _________________ Johnny's Fanfics (including Sureshot! I'd really like to draw a map of Bon Bon, but as of now it's a little difficult for me to find the time to draw it. I thought I'd start at first by drawing a map of the Delight Castle, so that you could better find your way in it. Then a map of Blue Manor.
For Bon Bon Take into account that the main things that I'll draw for now are these.
Imagine a small mountain station, not covered like the large city stations, like the ones in London...
Hmm, rather imagine Bon Bon's station to be similar to the one in the first movie about the Chronicles of Narnia, when the four siblings get to the country. From the station there are carriages that take to the town following a country road.
Once one is in town, there's the main street, to the sides of which there are the most expensive hotels with luxury shops under the archways at the ground floor of the buildings.
In the alleys there are the lesser shops, the inns and the houses.
All around the town there are woods and mountains, and also a lake and Blue Manor that is far away, isolated from the town. Bon Bon looks like Innsbruck:
The Goldenes Dachl inspierd me for the Delight Castle:
An important detail that we'll see in the future will be the caverns and galleries dug inside the mountains.
The mountain behind Blue Manor contains the caverns leading to the mine, whose entrance with the digging area is further away from the house. But from the large garden in the back of Blue Manor one can get to the gates closing some caverns, locked with heavy padlocks and sturdy chains!
See this example,
Amazingly build into a cave, Predjama castle is one of the most visited castles in Europe.
These caverns lead from Blue Manor to Bon Bon, where the caveau of the bank is hidden.
It goes without saying that Simon Blue's miners are all expert moles, helped by rabbit and badger workers. ^^
I haven't taken into account a school up to now, but there is a church, and also a hospital and other services.
I don't know where we could place the airport because we'd need a flat hill, but we'll find a location.
As soon as I'll be able to, I'll start doing a few sketches to put in the work in progress area. _________________

Amazing.
So those are the places that inspires you to draw BonBon, The Delight Castle, and The Blue Manor. |

The story itself paints a vivid picture of what the town could possibly be it'd be amazing what Vanessa could put on paper for the map. If it comes to be I certainly look forward to it. _________________ Penguins have the same mate for life. That doesn't surprise me much because they all look alike. Please Ms Vanessea, do not trouble your self about the airport on my behalf. It was rather selfish and inconsiderate of me to impose it and I now feel that it would be an unwelcome abberation. I am afraid that I forgot that I am only a guest in a world of your making. While my avatar will remain an aviator. I think it would be best if he were only a visitor to Bon Bon then a resident.
However I would like to thank you for your consideration in this matter.
I remain your obedient servant,

I believe this is another thing that reels us all into your story Vanessa. That its based in great detail on a real place, and everything within Bon Bon is quite believable. _________________ Oh, I'd tell myself

Another thing is your attention to detail in your backgrounds and in your period settings,Vanessa.Very rare in an online comic of any sort these days. |

Window shopping, naturally. A charming way to spend a carefree afternoon downtown. Particularly with friends. _________________ "Doktor! Are you sure this will work?!" "HAHA! I HAVE NO IDEA!" |

As long as you don't too distracted and end up lost. A map would be nice to find the shortcuts to all the local hotspots. |
