Alley, what do you think of Penthouse magazine? I feel it is between Playboy and Hustler -- more towards the Playboy side. Hustler is too much for my taste. Have you seen these mags? I'm real curious about what you think of Penthouse -- this is my mag of choice. It has class, but a bit of raunch also, but not to the degree of Hustler. Don't get me wrong either. I'm not implying one way or the other of you posing for them or like them -- I simply would like your opinion. Although, with your newly found comfort in your sexuality, I'm hoping in the future you would grace us with a touch - a touch mind you - of some more risque shoots. Perhaps in your proposed "Elite" section for the future???

I thought I'd comment on this. (just my input and perspective).

Penthouse over the years has become the preferred choice now for alot of people. They're now well funded, and they're buying up alot of properties on the Internet. They're moving in a direction that is looking pretty good. They're starting to also do some tasteful pictorials (stuff that is non-nude even, such as Tila's pictorial.)

Playboy actually has rather gone down hill. They're losing alot of money and is having some financial issues. Also- the airbrushing in their magazine has really been more and more obvious then ever before. The girls are so washed up. Somebody ought to shoot their airbrusher. Then again, they don't have money to hire a better one. LOL. Seriously. I've been looking at Playboy stuff over the years and its just gotten worst over time.

Here's another instance of Playboy not doing so well... Recently, my marketing guy who I commission to sell my games to Playboy has told me they're interested in getting my games again for their website. (As you know we did the Official Playmate Strip Poker for their website a while back with Jami Ferrell). It was featured on their site and front page for about 5 years. They recently got a new marketing group and alot of their website has changed. They wanted to get my games for their site. BUT they're too cheap to pay for it outright- instead they're 'looking' for sponsors to fork out the money instead to co-brand the game so they can get it for their site. That's just really lame huh?

Somethings to realize also- the way Playboy operates or deals with their "Playmates" in terms of contract really sucks. I believe most of the Playmates are not permitted to do anything outside of Playboy for 2 years. While the Penthouse Pets are free to shoot with whoever as they choose. They're not locked into a contract.

Which is why you'll find alot of Penthouse Pets on EAdultGames.com more instead of Playmates. Cuz we have to wait a while.

Sadly, the Playboy brand over time is going to fade away.

They're currently making money from 'licensing' their name. Which eventually will see similar sales drops when the "name" fades away.

If you read the article- you will understand. "Revenue" is dropping. Which means gross sales from people spending on Playboy is dropping. "Profit" is higher - which means they've gotten cheap and slashed budgets/expenses, so they can 'keep more money from whatever they're making.

I kind of agree with Ronald. I've had a Playboy subscription for awhile now and the last couple of years the magazines really just seem to get worse and worse as each issue comes out. I don't even care for the pictorials as I read alot of the stuff in the magazine as well, but it's become like alot of the same old stuff recently and that same old stuff is not the "good" stuff that would make it a good issue. Also seems like they're running out of models or idea's in a way. What was it? Like last year or the year before they had Hefs girlfriends (if they're still with him) from their "The Girls Next Door" tv show? Seemed like every other issue or two was them on the cover and them in the pictorials.

Alot of the "Forum" articles I believe it is, is all about the same thing mostly and or something that had already been discussed or so old already. I kind of mainly got it for like "celebs" that would pose for them that become collector items, and of course because that's whom Alley Poses for but she's usually only in the Special Editions and it's not on a regular basis so thats why I dont subsribe to those. When Alley is featured in one of their magazines and it's a SE one then I'll just buy that seperatly. Even though she may not be on the cover, just as long as she's in the magazine some way, shape, or form lol. (No don't worry, not a stalker, just a fan lol)

With the way Ronalds response is though, is that meaning or saying that you guys have been looking into maybe doing a photoshoot or being involved with Penthouse in the furture possibly? Or has Alley been discussing and or contemplating the idea if and when she's no longer signed to Playboy? I know she mentioned that she just did a photo set or two with them recently so would that have put her under a new contract or something that she wouldn't be able to do anything outside of Playboy magazine wise or her own website?

I personally think it would be huge if she was able or did a shoot with them, it could also be a big blow to Playboy seeing as how Penthouse would probably put something on their cover saying like "For the first time ever Alley Baggett whose only appeared in that other magazine" or something in that kind of nature. But if she did do something with them could or would it hurt her with Playboy? Like would they hold a grudge or something against her since she went to another company for a little bit? Cause I'm sure Alley is not the kind of person who would want to burn any kind of bridges with anyone or any company. But still would think it would be very awesome to possibly see what or how another company/magazine would/could promote her as well as to what kind of style is being used. I wouldn't though want Penthouse or another publication trying to make Alley do things she's not comfortable with in doing or showing and it's been a very very long time since I've even seen a Penthouse mag but the last time I saw one I believe they had their women like "speard" their "lips" showing alot of pink, and or alot of "hardcore" shots wether it was like a boy/girl pictorial or girl/girl pictorial? Which I'm pretty sure Alley wouldn't do or want to do something like that.

So true, Zombie. Penthouse does do pink shots, but I've seen many models do "classy" shots also. This is where Alley would fall in. I originally proposed this idea only cause of the fact you mention - seeing how another company would promote her. I really believe she got "gipped" out of the moy for Playboy. We all know she was it -- and is "the one." Penthouse may be just the venue she needs as she will call the shots (pun intended) as I'm seeing Alley being a touch more provacative with a hint of "nasty." You see that's what I desire - just a touch of a "little bit more." No pink spreads, but yes more clear shots of the "natural" open-ness - if you know what I mean. If you all notice, she is showing more lip shots recently, but they are just visible -- teases more like it. So I'm hoping for her confident sexuality to be just a bit more "open." Classy, but just a touch more. Maybe even a possibly peak at the "man under the hood." GEEZE, that would be icing on the cake!!! What say you, Alley?

While I agree with Alley being MOY or even the S.E.-MOY we also have to look at it from the other side. To be honest not alot of people "know" about Alley or who she is. Some people perrfer other models. Which is fine since we all have different opinions. I like to be the one to like "introduce" Alley to people if they've never heard or seen her.

We're all fans of just Alley or maybe others but Alley being our Fav and possibly our fav/#1 in Playboy, but it's how big the other fanbase is for others that we don't know about.

In a way though I feel we are like a small little "cult" following of Alley lol Not saying anything bad about Alley or anything, but for example a certain baywatch person who like releasing their sex tapes might have alot more fans then Alley because she's more "Mainstreamed" then Alley, but that's what I like about being a fan of Alley. It's not like we're part of a Bandwagon. If Alley get's even more popular or mainstreamed WE can say we've been here long before all the people that jump on the bandwagon.

Ahhh, I love my choices I'm a fan of sometimes... My NBA team has been and will always be the Chicago Bulls (started watching them because of Jordan but before they won their first Championship and have stuck with them even after the Jordan-era and still with them), the Buffalo Bills in NFL (My uncle who passed away last year 07 got me into football when I would go over there to hang out with my cousin and was a fan of Buffalo so I rooted for them as well and stuck with them, again before they had their 4 yr in a row SB run and still rooting for em even though we suck lol). Alley is my all time favorite model and if she's not on my desktop/wallpaper then it'll be some kind of video game picture like God of War, Gears of War, Halo, or some comic hero like Superman, Spiderman, etc.. But ONLY Alley as far as model is concerned. There was one other but once I saw a video of her where she was "fisting" herself that just turned me off completely. I'll just say her initials is "AG" and she was in Penthouse and Mac & Bumble and supposedly "all natural" but didn't really care for the "spreading" and hardcore stuff that has came out. My favorite movie genre is Horror and my cpu room has figures of Jason, Freddy, Leatherface, along with framed movie posters and one Alley - AlleyCat figure still in it's package.

So to me I don't feel like I'm a "bandwagon" type of person.

That would be the other thing if Alley was to do Penthouse, maybe she would be in "Regular" monthly issue's and not just Special Edition issue's like in Playboy. I like the fact she's in the rare SE mag's because makes it more of a collectors edition IMO but would also like to see her in a regular issue and on the cover of a regular issue once in awhile as well.

Alley is like a fine wine and just get's better as it/she ages. Every year has me impressed and even more of a fan. 2008 will be another great/awesome year I believe.

I spoke to Penthouse today....and they said that they are going more hardcore than before. They said that they were going soft for a little while but now they are going harder than ever.

I'm not sure what that means...but It's sounds like something that I would be WAYYYYYYY too uncomfortable doing. So sorry....no Penthouse layouts for me.

Good, Alley. I'm happy to know that you spoke with Penthouse. I really haven't seen a current Penthouse mag in a while. I'm disappointed that they are going more hardcore - they will lose a customer in me. That's why I don't like Hustler - what a shame. I thought they really had a gimick by being inbetween Playboy and Hustler.

Well, I'm also happy that you've confirmed that you will not be participating in those kind of shots. Soooooooo, that leaves us with your website. Maybe then YOU can direct Harvey or the new guy to maybe step up the more provacative shots as I first described. I think you know what I mean, Alley. Again, just a touch more of a peak...well, you know.
