Thanks Marcus. I just got back from the doctors. I had my 2nd antibiotic shot, this time in my right arm, so its hard to type as the shot really gives your arm a heavy cramping feeling.
The swelling on my face has gone down a little so i can now open my right eye now slightly.
Anyways i have been doing what the doctor says, cutting down on cigarettes, and no drinking.
Anyways im going to go back to bed now, ill chat to you guys later..........

Ok heres my daily update lol
I just got back from the doctors again, even though my swelling has gone down, my eyes are not improving. So the doctor has made me an appointment tomorrow morning at the hospital to see a eye specialist doctor
Ill let you know how that goes.............
Ok im going back to bed

The eye specialist will probably put you on different antibiotics. Please keep doing whatever the doctors say

I went to the hospital this morning, and saw the specialist. Apparantly my eyes are like this due a virus and not a bacterial infection like they originally thought. Its nothing too serious which is great. I cant wait to beable to be back to normal though! But apparantly it could still take a couple of weeks! So they took me off the antibiotics (Yay, means i can have a drink now ) and put me on to steroids LOL So next time you guys see me im gonna have grown some muscles 
Anyways im just trying to rest now and get my eyes back to normal. But unless it gets much worse i dont have to go back to the doctor for another couple of weeks

Jamie Lynn just dropped by with flowers, a card and a get well balloon, im so lucky to have friends like her, and you guys!

That's great news, Martina! A virus is more easily treatable than a bacterial infection. But it's still nothing to be trifled with. Please get plenty of rest and...

Glad you are feeling a little bit better. I didn't know that pink eye/conjuctivitis could be that severe. That really sounds awful. While you give your eyes time to recover, I like Wally's idea of listening to music, lots and lots of music, Ipod, radio, etc. That's the only relaxing activity I can think of that doesn't involve using your eyes.
I always say that the best medicine is chocolate! Take it easy for the next few days, get plenty of rest and you'll be all better in no time!

Thanks Irwin. I also didnt know pink eye could be that severe, i had it before as a kid, and it was like a walk in the park lol
But apparantly its because i have viral pink eye which caused it to be more severe, with the swelling etc
I just hope the eye doctor is right about it, as my eye its self isnt really that much better yet. But i suppose there is no instant sure. Looks like ill be using the steroids for a month
Anyways im crossing my fingers and hoping ill be fully recovered my Monday or atleast my eyes not be so sore

Damn i just read this on a website
"Like the common cold, there is no cure for viral conjunctivitis; however, the symptoms can be relieved with cool compresses and artificial tears (found in most pharmacies). For the worst cases, topical steroid drops may be prescribed to reduce the discomfort from inflammation. Viral conjunctivitis usually resolves within 3 weeks"

Yes Marcus, they are, if not worse. This is kinda how my eye lid looked, but mine were even redder, and then imagine that with lots of facial swelling
My right eye you can still barely see the white in it It does make my eyes look very green though

Yikes! That looks painful. Plus it is just plain cruel to not be able to scratch/rub something that itches. Talk about agonizing, you just have to fight every impulse to scratch.
At least the swelling has subsided. I bet the before picture would have looked like you went a few rounds in a boxing match Cold compresses are a good suggestion.
All things considered, it sounds like things are improving, much too slowly for you I'm sure, but still. And no horns sprouted so you're in good shape  unlike this little guy.

I had 3 packs of walkers today! Sausage rolls would be great, maybe ill try and pick some up tomorrow. I had no meat today due to Good Friday
Yep looks like my weekend will be relaxing just like the rest of my week

Yes sometimes its hard not to rub! Funny you say about the boxing, as when the doctor first saw me, she joked saying it looked like i had gone in for a few rounds with Tyson.
Yes im improving way to slowly for me, the problem is that now i can open my right eye, i have been getting the worst headaches as everything with my right eye looks really blurry so i must be getting the headaches due to strainging my eye. I sure do hope my eye sight will come back soon
Anyways when i looked up the exact name for what i have (Epidemic keratoconjunctivitis), it says its very rarely permanent
