Magnification a thousand times bigger than expected
when looking through the tears of a child
all emotion wrapped in one at such a young age
we sometimes forget those 1st moments that seem so long a while

But do you see so much of you in their awkward expression
how do I approach, how should I react
so many things larger than my arms or eyes can take in
when I'm so much smaller than those who surround me
putting on an act

As if everything is ok
nothing is gonna happen to you sweet baby
as long as I'm still breathing
momma's gonna help you with all the emotion
that will flow right through you like a tidal wave
daddy's gonna teach you that falling down is a part of life
but how to find your inner strength to get back up
on your own two feet
and eventually learn to walk on your own
simply till one day
crossing your own cross roads to simply watch you... leave

Hoping to God
we taught you everything we could ever teach you from right or wrong
unfortunately there will be life long choices that you alone
will have to make
think of me as if I were your own child when you have to decide
is this what my baby deserves out of life
when I know through all his guidance
God gave me a family who believes in his children
taking on a role that reflects God in every way who believes in me
passing on the same blessing to our next generation
building on our future
our family...

we had the blessing of the children at church this past weekend n there were thoughts n ideas going through my mind n it all cam out that very evening in like 20 min...
i like throwing myself outthere when it comes 2 writing. it either scares u, shocks u, captivates u...

Hey Feathers

What a great poem my friend. You have alot of talent. I was really reading it and I really, really like it. I am going to start breaking it down in a few areas and try to find the right melody for it and write some chords to it. I started just fooling around with it a little bit with my 12 string guitar, and I am waiting to get togeather with Wednesday to help me put something togeather with your poem. I have played the guitar for about 20 yrs. and I am okay at it. But Wednesday has been playing the piano since she was 6 and she also has perfect pitch. So when I get kind of an idea about putting music to words I kind of find where I want to go with it and then I get togeather with her and she knows right where I need to go with it. But anyway I just wanted to let you know how great I thought it was Feathers. If I do get some chords and a melody figured out that will do your amazing poem it's due justice I will pass them on to you. Again great job Feathers.

i really enjoy knowing someone gets it when i lay something down... but 2 put it 2 music that blows my mind!!1 i have no idea on how 2 play either but i plan on taking my boy Ryley and getting him lessons when he 6 i hope and along with him so he doesnt feel dicouraged i plan on learning as well!

I absolutley Love that woman 2 death like Alley!!!

when she expresses her words in her songs u feel so much emotion coming from her she is so inspiring!!!

Tori and Prince r a big deal in my life cause it helps me become calm in a world where there is so much chaos n disorder...
just like looking at Alley in her portraits...

i call them portraits cause she takes u away in so many ways that defines our peace of calmness like an angel caressing our soul that everything will b fine....

i have a book of poems i plan on one day publishing when it is completely full and the title will b of nothing short...Whispering Feathers!

Cause there is no other way 2 describe words that may caress ur soul, or tickle ur inner thoughts that stir ur imagination...lmao

but its me and it reflects everyone who has been a part of my life in some 4m or other!!!

but i just wanted 2 say thank u 4 ur interest i hope i can one day hear what u and Wednesday come up with:)
