Hi Alley

Well, Wednesday and I watched both documentaries on Saturday night. I will tell you what I thought about Iraq For Sale on this post. I will let you know what I thought about 9/11..Press for The Truth Tomarrow. I have alot of thoughts about them both. But I am going to have to write a "PANDA" like thing here and I will only be up for doing one. I don't think I have it in me tonight to write 2 of them. LOL!!!!!!! I laughing with you Panda, not at you.....

Anyway Alley, Wednesday and I had a perfect evening going. I made the perfect dinner. I am a GREAT cook by the way!!!! I got a couple of bottles of some really great Merlot. I keep a great fire going. Great tunes going on. A perfect evening. Lots of laughter, touching and hugging and really enjoying each other.

Then it was time to snuggle up on the sofa with a really compy throw over us and settle in to watch the 2 documentaries. The first one was Iraq For Sale. I wish I had watched that one 2nd if I had it to do over again. Anyway, I started to get a little dismayed within the first 15 minutes. Right after the first section about Blackwater. Hearing from the families of Paul and Jerry and hearing how they were put out there and Blackwater was cutting corners on missions by not supplying armor veheicals and no rear gunner for protection pissed me off. And then hearing 24 to 48 hrs after the incident hired ASG Group to do damage control. Got to some legislatures such as Warner, and Hunter, and Santorum some very heavy hitters on the hill, they basicly stopped the investigation. Blows me away. And then to see that Blackwater has had a 600% profit increase since the war is absolutly sick. I mean it's great if a Corp. can make substancial profit gains. But not at the expense of cutting corners that cost human life and have crooked polititions in your back pocket. Oh and by the way keep rewarding them by throwing them a 73 million dollar FEMA Katrina contract at $240,000 a day. Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, now I have to hear about all the bull about Abu Ghraib. WTF??? CACI getting government contracts to interrogate prisoners. The wink and nod approch. Are you kidding me!! Getting paid 6 times the money that enlisted men for doing the same job. Oh we don't waste any money do we. There are so many things wrong with Abu Ghraid. One thing I would really love to see looked into is why are our military MP's put on trial for some things done at Abu Ghraid and the f**kheads from CATI and Titan are not being held accountable for their actions? Along with other hired contractors. And speaking about Titan, Intel Linguists with no training, a 1 minute phone interview, no test, trusting them with everything, no followups WTF?????? I just really don't know how anybody in Washington doesn't have their head stuck up their ass. That goes for both parties!!!

So much bull. And of couse the great company Halliburton is doing such an outstanding job with water purification. I mean the expert Ben something cries as he describes the contaminated water that Hallibrton-KBR delivers to the people seving in Iraq. WTF?????????? I don't know how much more I want to keep going right now. I'm getting mad and sick again reliving the movie. So I'll do some summing up on what I think. My opinion only.

I know the real motivation for the Iraq War was that Bush-Cheney purposely destroyed the infrastructure of Iraq for Billions and Billions of dollars into their favorite U.S. company's. while letting the U.S. Treasury go broke. The problem is I think Big Business ownes our government. So it's not just Bush-Cheney that have sold us out. There are alot of people on the hill in both parties that count on big campain contrabutions from Big Business. Let's face it Alley, the oil company's, the pharmicutical company's and the insurance company's own the government. But it is OIL that is driving the Bush-Cheney and all their buddies. I think they are all hoodlams.I think Cheney and all the ex's at Halliburton should somehow be arrested and brought to justice. But nobody on the hill has the balls to hire a speical prosecuter to get it done. Simply put it is all about GREED AND PROFIT AT THE TAXPAYERS EXPENSE all for oil. Cheney and his buddies continue looting the U.S. Treasury. All in all I think all the CEO's and upper Managment in Halliburton, Blackwater, CACI, Beachtel, Flour, KBR should be looked at an held accountible for their outragous pricing and profets. Their imcompetence and a diliberate misappropration. It's our tax money that is paying all this. It is all deliberate fraud and orgainized theft that Chaney and his buddies are getting away with. Oh,and I don't even want to get started on the missing and unaccounted for 8 Billion dollars that Hallibuton that just happened to disappeare in Iraq without a trace WTF is that all about.

Ok Alley that is really just a little bit of what I thought about a 1hr an 15 min documentary. I am worn out. Like the great David Bowie once said that fits how I feel about this right now " My brain hurts like a warehouse with no room to spare" Anyway Alley I have alot more to say but maybe another time or ask me a question about what I thought about certain things.

Ok, tonight I will give you my thoughts on 9/11-Press For The Truth!!! It is abit calmer than my Iraq For Sale thoughts in my post above.

I think that this was a very interesting documentary. It covered alot of ground and asks alot of questions. Very interesting questions. Starting out with the film I thought the FBI Director Mueller telling us he had no idea that the terrorists would ever use planes to attack the U.S. even though there were some reports of Middle Eastern men in commercial flight schools as far back as 96. Oh, and don't forget about the G8 conference of world leaders in Italy right before 9/11. So either he is hidding something or he is just an idiot!

The Jersey Girls, Patty, Mindy, Lorie, and Kristen all brought up alot of interesting situations. I think that there was abit of over drama about some of the things they were saying. But thay did ask alot of very serious questions, and there needs to be some answers. I give them alot of credit for what they have been doing and pushing for. They have brought about alot more investigating into 9/11.

The part of the documentary that I found most interesting and make me think alot was when it started focusing toward Afghanistan. What did 9/11 have to do with the invation of Afghanistan? And what's with the head of the Pakistan Intelligence Service sending $100,00 grand to some terrorist guy that was somehow connected to the guy's who helped plot 9/11? Why was Bin Laden who was about a rat's ass away from being captured in Tora Bora, Afghanistan basicly allowed to just slip away? And then the CIA commander in Afganistan resign about 2 years before his retirerment? There are alot of very, very interesting questions about all of this.

On the whole Alley, even though there are so many, many questions that we need answers to involving pre 9/11 and all the events afterword. There are going to be alot of theries and talk about cover-ups and conspirisies. The only way again to find any answers to try to get to the absolute truth. We need a Speical Prosecutur to get a true independent investigation with subpoena powers and have the absolutly everyone testify under oath. Until then we will never really know alot of the answers. But it was a really good documentary and I am glad that I watched it. I do want to do some more reading and hopefully find a few more documentaries to lean more. But so far as alot of the things that are out there go, that are not in the documentary.

Do I think that Bush or the U.S. Gover't. had anything at all to do with 9/11 No!!! Do I thimk that the Administration is trying to do some kind of cover-up or there is some kind of conspirisy therey going on. No! Do I think that explosives were used to bring down the towers. No! I do think there was a 100 mistakes made before the 9/11 attacks and there were 100's of mistakes during and after the attacks. There are hard questions to be asked and they need to be anwsered! And if you read my above post on Iraq For Sale you would see that I am not big on Bush. I just don't see anything here but plain and simply the terrorists planned and executed the attack on 9/11

So as you can see Alley I was alot calmer with what I thought about this documentary than I was with Iraq For Sale. Like I said this was a really good documentary and it has opened my eyes to alot of serious questions. I hope to learn so much more. So if you have any suggestions that might steer me in the right direction please let me know.

Hi Alley'

I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts, and response. And I also have so much more to say and share about the documentaries. I am looking forward to the other great and interesting documenaries you have to suggest seeing and sharing. I don't have satlelite TV. I have digital cable. But I do have a couple of friends that have satlelite TV and I will check out the Free Speech TV. Wednesday is a International Flight Attendent and so she is gone 3 or 4 days at a time. So I will take some of those oppertunities when she is out of the country and hang out at one of my friends and check out Free Speech TV.

Again thanks for turning me on to the 2 documentaries. I got alot out of them and they are really making me think and I am so interested in seeing and learning a whole lot more.

This film is not bias to either party and is not anti Bush propaganda. All fact, very highly researched. Aaron has the biggest balls in the US, I'm surprised he's not had an attempt on his life. I've been watching different ones lately. God, I love Satelitte TV. FreeSpeech TV is what I watch. They don't get their funding from big corporations who in return censor news and decide is what being shown and what is not. The corporations do it for the government.....and everbody does it for something in return. Basically, there's something in it for all involved.

Anyway...I would like to say that our president is a GREAT liar, cheerleader, puppet...and it's all about POWER and MONEY...unfortunately money....not for us.....but for them and their corporations.

It's sad to know that the president is using the war/terror thing into some kind of Christian movement. It's not because he has good Christians values....it's because....again....he's "using" Americans Christian religion to his advantage....to get the people to stand by him and what he says. You know what...when it came time to vote a lot of Christians did vote for him just because he didn't believe in abortion and he didn't believe in the same sex marriage. That's makes me mad because....those aren't the only things you need to look for in a good president. There are WAY MORE IMPORTANT issues then....who's marring who? Church should have NEVER EVER been allowed to be involved with the government. It has always been seperated in the past. It seems that the president has gotten away with sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much more then any other president EVER! I think there's a bigger group (political gang) involved then ever before. It blows me away how in these documentaries that we are now seeing....they read the entire situation like it's written from a book. They pieces are put together for you.....and it makes damn good sense. I'm not talking about Anti-Bush stuff....I'm talking documentaries that are now exposing the TRUTH....which not very many people are knowing about still today. This isn't a Republican/ Democrat thing.....it's a what's right and what's wrong thing....at this point.

There's nothing good that's become of the war. Now....we've only created even MORE enemies. It's amazing to me how MUCH those private contractors were getting paid to do what our trained government people are supposed to do. IT'S JUST SOOOOOOOOOO CRAZY HOW MUCH!!!! All while ....otheres beneath the head guys....are risking their lives to get a small piece of the pie.....doing work....that was not even needed just so that they can tack it on the invoice later. The water situation...just tells me that the government does not give a rats ass about our men out there.

Seeing the president dressed up in Air Force gear and what not....is such a JOKE!!!! He act's like he's some bad ass who has fought in war.....he's ran from the Vietnam war....so did Cheney....and all their other buddies. That is why they call him a "chicken hawk"

There's just so much anger and even other bad emotions when you think about our government/president. Trillions of dollars was spent on the war. Which most of that money went into the Vice President's and his buddies corporation's pocket and God knows where else. Those Trillions of dollars could have been spent to SERIOUSLY upgrade our security in the States....kind of like the security in Europe. It is very high tech. It could have been spent on natural gas vehicles or such...it could have gone on rebuilding Katrina. New Orleans still has not seen the money they were promised to rebuild. It could have gone to our elderly and children here. There are so many things it could have gone towards.

Well, you know what's done is done. What do we do now? How could we make things right? How could our president make things right? The next president is going to be left with a BIG MESS to clean up and deal with.

I just saw another documentary tongiht, Death at Abu-Grab. That is another sad documentary. The stories are being told by the people who actually took the pictures and who were in the pictures as well as others who worked there. Our government is so crooked. Now this is another thing..that will make others hate us...becuase we are supposed to be a nation of justice, democracy and peace and yet when we treat those prisoners like we did.....we are being hypocritical and etc. We can only be hated even more.

The sadest part is that innocent kids are being killed everyday during crossfire. If they aren't killed they are seriously wounded. I know that's what happens when there's a war but Saddam Hussen and the people of Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. We all know that now. Not if you only go by what the president says though.
I am against all war though. Why does there have to be war?

It would be very very sad...if one day...the world ends because we can't get along ....rather from a natural death/dissaster. There is something so much greater than us and we (our president-them) want all power to this or that....or all of it. There is only 1 that has all power over all of us......at least that's what I think.

It is so crazy the times we live in.

What I do know is.....we need to SPREAD the news/message about these documentaries to everyone else you know!!! so that they too....can know the truth. The truth shall set you free. I still believe in that. The more that know the truth....the more of an uprising there will be against the president and bring/force him to justice for his war crimes and other illegal activities.

We can't just stand here and let these people manipulate our TV's/minds/kids and lives. We have to get the power of truth and act upon that.

Another GREAT documenary is, Hijaking Catrastophy. I've seen it twice. Please see it and let me know what you think.

Sorry for rambling on....but these are my thoughts. I don't intend to offend anyone....if I have I am sorry. I know this is a time of sorrow for some.

Did you know that our governments solidiers and others are being charged a 390% APR for using their government provided credit cards.....while us citizans are only charged a usual 22% or such? They are being so ripped off by our government it's not even funny. In the end, our soliders who might return home....will be in debt up to their eye balls....and possibly have terrible credit.

Did you know that our president and vice president already knew 10 days into their presidency that they were going to attack IRAQ for their oil? They knew of the attacks on 9/11....well before it happened. They allowed for it to happen so that they could have a "reason" to get in there. There is all kinds of proof on this.

There is a huge war going on right now and it's not about anything else.....other than getting oil (money/power)!!! We are going to do when there's no more oil at all? We are going to have to fight other large countries for this oil. In essence everyone will be fighting for this little bit of oil that is left. It will be a global war. All the while we pay HUGE HUGE amounts of money for gas....(because it will hav to be imported now)....CEO's will be getting millions of dollars as pay...plus millions more for commisions.....plus millions more for a raise. The US stocks will soar downward....millions of innocent peoples lives everywhere will be lost...all because of wanting the little bit of oil left. The answer is to get off of oil. BIO DIESIL fueled cars...is the best answer. You get your fuel for free from restraunts who throw out their vegetable oil....anyway. How cool is that? Plus its clean and safe for us and for our planet that is suffering so much!

Our lives are being ran by large corporations. They are controlling our government and every other part of our lives......REALLY! They control the oil and pay everyone off to pass or not pass certain laws for their benefit....they control the government....because these large corporations also pay millions of dollars to our politicians....for "campaigning and such" in return they get certain laws passed for them....or look the other way sort of speak. These corporations contol our news media and basically everything we see on TV...(except for independent channels....who get their funding not by corporations but by donations from the viewers). Since they are getting what they want from the politicians/government....they in return decide to only play certain news.....and to not show other ALARMING news....(this means they are working side by side with the government on not allowing to see what is REALLY going on in the world....that involves our government....that involves others we might be hurting....and such.

Did you know that a few years back one of the major gas companies...basically put a bunch of presser on Nigeria's govenment to quiet down a bunch of villagers who were very upset that they had come into their lands to dig up oil. Their water supply, their crops, their air, thier homes had become contaminated. There was a certain leader who was the villagers voice.....and later was arrested by their own government and hung....all because he was getting the people to uprise and stand up for themselves and their lands. This man was filmed saying to everyone to come with peace and to let their voices be heard until their goal is accomplished....and the oil is taken away. The large gas company that was there....had been paying off their government.....which is why they wanted this person silent. It was sad to see because this man was a nobel good man who did not deserve this.

Did you also know....that know these big gas/oil corporations have entered certain rain forrests and are now pumping oil in our beautiful breath taking rain forests? They are also dumping out all their wastes in these rain forrests too. It is a lot cheaper for them to do so. There is footage of these dump sites....throughout and it's pools of oil....spewed all over the lush green. It's like big ponds of this toxic crap.

I have a prius....and I would like for my second car to be a bio diesiel car....which I would use primarily. I hate OIL!!!!!!! It truely isn't something that we NEED.....only we don't have the right information given to us....to get off of it.....or we think that we might loose some luxury. Well it's not true. Other's have done it....others are doing it. Here's the US.....trailing behind other countries one step at a time.....towards economic growth...and everything else.

I'm French so first sorry for my poor English.
I agree with you Alley. I'll give you a part of the french opinion in France. For the begining at the Iraki war France was against the U.S. . We were treating like trators. But we knew that there was no reason to attack Irak (as Germany and Russia too). And that it 'll be very dangerous because it'll be an urban war with a lot of guerilla warfare and bomb attacks.
Today it seems that there is no solution to ending the war:
_ If U.S. stay you will continue to lose soldiers.
_ If U.S. go home it will be civil war and become a massacre.
Maybe the UN are not able to solve the crisis (we can see it in Kosovo today)
I don't know the answer (otherwise I'll be the US President and I'll invite you to the White House to have a departement.....)
What is sure: US have to find a satisfactory answer to the Iraki crisis. US are responsible for this war, for these innocent men, women and children killed.
This is not a condamnation on my behalf. I whish I hadn't offend anyone. If I have I'm sorry.

I just got done reading all of your posts regarding the documentaries. Boy, you have alot of very strong toughts and you are making your stand known, and drawing a line in the sand. YOU GO GIRL!!!!!! I agree with just about everything you stated in your posts. I have too admit that there were a few things you stated that I don't quite agree with yet. But you also have done alot more research and seen alot more documentaries than I have, so I need more information to see a few things alot more clearly before making up my mind 100% on a very few of some things I am not quite sure of yet.

As you know I have seen 2 of the docuentaries that you have suggested to see. And both of them really opened my eye's to alot of issues. Thank you so much for for suggesting 3 more documentaries. After I finish writing this post I am going to order all 3. Hijacking Catrastophy. Death At Abu-Grab, and Crude Impact. Hopefully I will get these in the next week and I will watch them very closely. I will post my thoughts and views on these documentaries to you afterwards. I am looking forward to seeing them.

I am so glad that you brought up many of the very really important issues in your posts. The oil company's and the Rain Forest's that are starting to be effected with the damage and toxic waste. I have also seen some photo's of the toxic waste and pools. It absolutly makes me sick to my stomach. These people should be hung by their balls. You are so right, they do not give a crap about anything but money. They do n't even have enough brains to realize that the rain forests are on earth for a reason. If the rain forests are someday destoyed from drilling and toxic landscape the world is then just about done. The rain forests were put there for a reason.

I am also so behind you in your fight about use being dependent on the use of oil. You are so right we do not need it. There are so many alternitives in the world today. But like you said, the government, the oil company's and the media are all contrlled by money and greed. So until we American's start waking up it will be a no-win fight. You are so right Alley, that the big corporations absolutly control our government, that is both parties Republcan and Democrat because of they do pay off millions and millions of dollars to both for campaigning and lobbying. Big corporations own all politions in one way or another. Then they get up and shout at the top of their lungs and how this and that has to be changed and the second that they are put into office, here come the big corporations saying okay we gave you all this money now it is time for you to do what you promised us you would do if you got elected with our money. And the media is paid off to spin it or not really report it because they need the big advertising money. It is a very sick and decieving system, on electicting our politions. Hopefully someday we can work it out, but don't hold your breath.

Anyway Alley, boy I have alot more to say and alot more thoughts on what you brought up in your posts. I have to run and do a few more things before the day ends. I will write and give you alot more of may thoughts and views very, very soon as soon as I get the chance. Maybe tonight or tomarrow. I do want to thank you again for all that you are doing to help opening up some eye's. You are doing your part Alley. I am proud of you and I admire your thoughts and your stand. Like I said I agree with just about everything you are saying, and thank you again for recommending the 3 other documentaries. I am ordering them in 5 minutes. Man, I just finished watching "An Inconvenient Truth". I've read about the effects of global warming but to actually see the before and after pictures really got to me.

What I also find difficult to understand is the US auto industry's resistance to producing more fuel-friendly cars. Do they really think people are happy with 12-15 mpg cars? Where exactly is the benefit when commuting to work in a stop and go traffic. There is a reason why the japanese cars are selling better, here. Last week, I was forced to get a new car and the choice came down to save on fuel/save the planet or not. Japan 1, US 0.

I think in order to make a big change in the way that people/corporations mistreat the world/US....the government has to step in and pass some laws....and basically force a change to happen....otherwise I think most people are too lazy to worry about things that will affect us many many years later.

I agree that corporate America runs things in this nation. However, it is too much of a simplification to watch Al Gore's movie and think that we're doing it all wrong. Unfortunately, we're all guilty of a cycle that's difficult to reverse. As you sit there and type at your PC, drive your car, etc. you're burning energy and giving your money to the very machine that you criticize. But it's hard to live in America and not be guilty of those things. You mention Japan. Japan, China, and alot of the Asian nations have economies that are expanding rapidly, and they're not too concerned about conserving energy, etc. They're using most of the world's steel right now as they build infrastructure, and burning fuel at an unprecedented rate for energy (yet we buy most of our goods from them-- we're their #1 customer). The political system is broken. Our politicians LET the corporations tell them what to do. That's the real problem.

What we need in America, is a good common-sense, middle-of-the-road candidate. The Republicans are too tied up with God and guns and big corporations, and currently are leading us on some sort of modern-day crusade against the Persians. It's crazy. The Democrats are weak-minded, disorganized, and hypocritical (see Al Gore's big energy-consuming house and private jet), and want to police the world to save everyone from themselves. We need to break our ties with the Middle East for oil, start building cars like those used in Europe that get 30 to 40 mpg on average, and continue to invest in energy solutions. No more big redneck V-8 trucks. No more silly SUVs to take the kids to soccer. We play big and spend big. We spend beyond our means. We're heavily in debt and addicted to a life based on consumption. We want more, more, more. A good middle-of-the-road candidate without special interests, etc., and platforms based on common-sense is the way to go. Steve Forbes would have been great, but he was too ugly for the average person to feel good about voting for. Tell you what, I'll run. Just nominate me and don't tell them that I spend so much time with myself on Alley's site.

I totally agree with you on everything that you said. It is all.....so true.

We are China's #1 customer right now....because about 80% of our goods come from there. This is something that we can....and can not help. I think if we all came together and decided to not purchase China made goods for up to however long...it could send a strong message. Will we do it?.....that's another story. I don't know....all I know is.....everything I look to buy....and do end up buying is from Chica. I think that could also be something that the government could put a handle on. Will they? Well....that's another story too.

I agree with you saying that....while we sit here and type and drive and etc.....we burn up tons of energy. Our everyday lives....is a very good reason why we should do little changes in what we do....to conserve energy. I believe if enough people make small changes....then it can have a great impact. I think the govenment has to get involved to help with people with the over consumption of energy. I think if they offered bigger incentives to people....for adding solar panels to their homes....more people would do it. There really are LOTS more clevar ways to get more and more people involved and be more active with conserving energy of all types. BUT.....like you said....the corporations rule our government and the corporations aren't going to want us to save money on our energy costs. The bottom line is: Money, Power & Greed

if everyone in america replaced one incandescent light bulb with one of those compact flourescent bulbs, the energy saved would be equivalent to taking 1 million cars off the road!
the energy saved from recycling one aluminum can could power a television set for 3 hours!!

...it's all about the little changes we make in our lives - as you already know, there is power in numbers! and if we all make minute little changes in our lives, we could literally make a WORLD of difference!!!


- i found out something last week that i am VERY excited about... i'm an electrician, and i found out that our local union is installing solar panels at our hall and our training center. not only for the energy saving benefits, but because we are going to be learning everything about them - how they work, how to install them, what they can do for us now, and what they will do for us in the future, and all the benefits of them. we want to be on top of this growing trend, and we want to be knowledgeable in that field so we can recommend them to potential customers. other than specialized "solar" contractors, we are the only electrical contractors in the area looking into solar technology!! i'm really looking forward to learning more about it!

The problem is with getting people to do just 1 or 2 small things to help mother earth is like pulling teeth. about 20 to 25 % of the American population I believe truly care and are doing many things to do thier part in helping. But the problem is, that 50% of the population is just set in thier ways and just to damn lazy to do anything to help. I know people like that. And sadly the other 25% of the people just don't give a rat's ass about it. So, it is a very uphill battle.

Congrats to your company and union for going solar. I have about 3/4 of my house using solar panals. they are really awesome. I am big on recycling. I mean I recycle everything. I am like Alley. When I go shopping I take 2 or 3 canvas tote bags and use them over and over. Everyone should do that. We have to get rid of the plastic bags in the shopping world.
I have incandescent light bulbs in every single spot in my house. I am very earth friendly and I want to do my part to protect the beautiful world in which we live. I just hope like you stated that if everyone would do just 1 or 2 things it would make a huge impact. So get off your butts everyone and do 1 or 2 things. Believe me you will feel really good about it.

Oh and Alley, I have seen the 3 dvd's the last couple of weeks. Hijacking Catastorphy...Death at Abu-Grab....Crude Impact. Boy do I have alot of thoughts on these 3 films. I hope to get my thoughts on them to you in the very near future. They will be long posts.

Man! Watching DVD's with you is no picnic! Hmmm, the last 3 DVDs I watched were retarded. I think I watched Little Man (about the little midget guy who poses as a baby), Caddyshack (a classic), and some chick-flick with the girl from the Notebook (Rachel McAdams- what a babe) & Diane Keaton about some dysfunctional family at Christmas.

After reading the newspaper and watching CNN, etc., the last thing I want to do is be depressed watching a DVD. I need some mind-numbing entertainment in my life to keep it balanced when I watch TV (which is rare anyways).

Good point Hotcum....and if you feel that you need something else to balance you out.....then please do so. But for those who are more interested about some REAL life stories that affect you and me....then the 3 documentaries that Nebraska mentioned are ones to watch. To be honest with you....I kind of feel guilty/weird watching silly stuff knowing that there is way more important stuff to watch. Don't get me wrong....I watch the occasional REAL WORLD : ) or Entourage but anytime I hear that a new documentary is on.....I watch it! I LOVE to learn about things.....that has effected our past, is effecting us currently and will effect our future. I especially get blown away when I learn about certain issues....that I would have never known otherwise. I love to get BLOWN away......by the way. Then I start to view things/people in a different light. There is NOTHING GREATER THAN KNOWLEDGE!

Thank you for the taking the time to watch the DVD's I referred to you....Nebraska. I can't wait to hear what you have to say. Maybe now you understand my points of view a bit better.

Hi Alley

I will be posting my thoughts on the documentaries real soon. I am in a good mood right now and I am afraid that once I start posting my thoughts , I am going to go into great detail and get pissed off again real soon. I think that I need to post my thoughts on a day in the morning sometime, so when I get done posting I can go out and go water skiing or something fun so I can get back into a good mood.

Anyway , I will most likely be posting on Crude Impact first. Because that one has stuck with me the most I guess. I will say though, that after seeing Crude Impact that I will never buy from Shell or Texico again. I mean Texico's activities in Ecuador. I mean I cannot believe what these jerks did for the love of money and greed to the Amazon Rain Forest. I mean dumping 18 Billion gallons of waste water that had about 2% crude oil and dumped it into the Rain Forest for 28 yrs.They said it was the equivalent of 30 times the oil that spilt from the Exxon Valdez. Are you kidding me. These people should be hung by the balls. They have no idea at all how important the Rain Forest's are to our world. And by getting away with it and taking advantage of misinformed government and hardly no regulations and laughing all the way to the bank while dummping 18 Billion gallons into the Rain Forest.

Okay, Okay see I am starting to get in a bad mood. See, what I mean I will have alot to say about this and the other 2 dvd's. I will get my thoughts to you on these soon Alley. I promise.......

I love hearing about the impact these documentaries have made on you and others. Unfortunately...no one else seems to care as much as you and I.

These documentaries are SOOOOO important because like I said before....if it wasn't for the production of these documentaries we would NEVER know about this stuff. Now remember I've seen all these documentaries on FREE SPEECH which is aired on satellite. I've bought them as well hoping to show them to some family and friends.

I believe it's important to share these documentaries with as many people as possible so that you can share your knowledge with others. They probably have no clue of this and until they see for themselves....it will all be something that's hear say to them.

Nebraska you are a very special man because you care about things on a greater scope!

It is unfortunate that Iraq is for sale, but I don't agree with all the finger pointing that is being done. We are Americans, they are Americans, we all represent the same thing and we all are represented by the same people. Don't believe me? What do you think you do everytime you buy soemthing from China or Mexico? You may be, in some way, helping a person who works 16 hours sewing your jeans by hand for only cents a day support their poor family...but your also making another person rich. What do you do when you buy anything? You make someone money...A regular employee at a big company is the USA makes average pay, but that person's CEO makes 50 times that employees pay, and we continue to buy things. Is Iraq any diffrerent? Most people point the finger at the Bush administration...and I do too, but not in the same way...There is no way that Bush or anyone else could of Orchestrated this mass confusion we call a war...Bush is way too stupid and if he wasn't, why would he act like he is and constantly invite critisism to wht he does? He is one of our worst Presidents, right up there with Andrew Johnson...Don't give him that much credit.

The problem lies in greed, of course, but whose? DOD runs the Military, DOD is part of the Government, don't the people run the Governemt? Didn't we ellect them? Don't we abide by our laws? We all cheared when we took Bahgdad in 16 days, and now we're all saying it was all wrong in the first place??? We cant control that now anyway so it doesn't matter any more, it's done...there is another presidential election coming, there are always chances to change the future, but you can never change the past, it is time to stop dwelling on it...I say take responsibility for being American, take responsibility for what is being done in Iraq, we are part of it whether we admit it or not and the people of Iraq (and Afghanistan) hate us all equally because of it. It's time we stood together to fix our mistakes.

I was just turned on to this post so I haven't had a chance to watch the documentaries, but I will...I imagine my opinion will still be the same...I believe that if our government is letting bad things happen in Iraq, then I/we are letting bad things happen in Iraq too. I will post a more informative reply a soon as I see the Docs...
