Before 5 years we have the unbelievable terrorist attack at the USA. I was on holiday in Spain and a friend ring me up and said, look in TV whats happend, in New York the twins doesen´t exist no more.

I was so shocked about the terrible pictures. I can´t believed what i have seen. My Friend and I was in the pre-Christmas-period 2000 in New York and visit the twins. I can´t believed, that this great buildings are destroyed and so many innocent people are dead.

Today i hear the song "Only times" by Enya and i must think on this totally futile attack. I break out in tears.

I have the great wish, that we have never more such an absolute futile attack in the whole world. I pray, that we have sometimes really peace in the world, so we can enjoyed calmly the beautiful things on earth, like my dream-women Alley.

No offense, but I only wish to offer my humble opinion on this matter. I have done some research into 9/11. During these 5 years, I have increasingly become skeptical of the Government's version of the events. Now I'm not saying that 9/11 was a government inside job, however all I'm saying, is that we may not have been told the truth about the entire 9/11 issue.

Like I said, I continue to do a lot of research into this thing, and as far as I and a growing number of people around the world are concerned, something is terribly fishy about the Bush administration's war on global "terrorism".

I would also like to emphasize that even though you may disagree with me, I want to let you know that I was once a supporter of the official story which the government continues to propagandize to the public via the controlled corporate mainstream media. However my beliefs changed once I did my research and dug deeper into the 9/11 events. I respect your opinions, just as I'd hope you'd respect mine. We can disagree, but we can do so without hostility. Regards.

In closing, I'd like to share with you some sentiments that the 9/11 victim's families are expressing against the official 9/11 story. You see, many 9/11 families believe something is terribly suspicious about the official version of the events. The families continue to ask legitimate questions, but many of them are being ignored by the mainstream media:

Here are three 9/11 investigative videos which make for an extremely convincing case against the official story. These 3 videos are so convincing that I have yet to come across anyone who has watched them to be in disagreement with them. Keep in mind as well, that years of research into 9/11 was put into these videos:

Always fact check as well, as that is the only way to truly verify your information. Make sure to connect the dots when doing research, so as to gain an understanding of the larger picture. Don't be afraid to post in various messageboards throughout the internet and challenge other people's opinions. Your research will equip you with more knowledge than they can handle. And if you happen to come across people who may know more than you, learn from their research. Furthermore, always question everything and always keep an open-mind. Always.

We all know that what happened to the Twin Towers (long live the Twins) could've been prevented. But also attacked that day was the Pentagon.

A few months after 9-11, I watched a TV special report regarding the aftermath of the Pentagon crash. At the time the plane hit, the building was undergoing intense restructuring. The contractors were almost finished building bomb-resistance into the Pentagon. If a bomb or something went off at the building, the walls would expand to absorb the explosion, and then return to their initial state, and you wouldn't have known a bomb went off. On 9-11, the plane hit the one section of the Pentagon that was not yet completed... Coincidence? This probably explains why the plane didn't go as far into the building as expected by the hijackers, and also helped save many innocent lives (however, the same materials should've been used on the Twins, but unlikely to be of much assistance).

I have yet to follow up on this, but when I find more information, I'll pass it on.

According to Wikipedia, when the Pentagon was being built, ground for the construction was broken on September 11, 1941. EXACTLY 60 YEARS later, on September 11, 2001, a hijacked plane crashed into the Pentagon.

Interesting find Gthang. There are just so many suspicious things surrounding 9/11 that I believe a new independent investigation is necessary. I mean, why didn't NORAD follow standard operating procedures for intercept and rendezvous once it became obvious that a plane went off-course?

How come NORAD conducted a record number of War Drills that were happening at the very same time the actual 9/11 attacks occured? Why were fighter planes sent all the way off to Alaska? How could the most heavily secured and defended building (Pentagon) in the United States be successfully struck by a mediocre pilot? There was enough time for fighter jets to scramble and catch up to any of these passenger planes, but why didn't they?

It's interesting as well that in 1999 (according to a USA TODAY news report), NORAD planned to carry out a drill that would simulate planes being used as weapons to strike the World Trade Center: http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2004-04-18-norad_x.htm. Isn't it just odd that they would practice for a scenario that would come to pass just 2 years later? Isn't it even more odd that since they prepared for such a specific scenario, that they did not even respond to those exact attacks on the morning of 9/11? Surely this could not be a case of "not being able to anticipate" because afterall, they did prepare for such a contingency 2 years earlier. So why didn't they even attempt to stop the attacks?

Some people who still believe in the official government story sometimes ask "why would the government do this to its own people?" But what they don't realize is that 9/11 has resulted in many executive power grabs and erosion of civil liberties. The Patriot Act has enabled the U.S. Government to detain any citizen who they may "suspect" as a terrorist. The Act also enables the Government to increase surveillance in cities, spy on citizens, and even install military units in civilian institutions. Are we seeing the beginning signs of a police state?

There is an official government geo-political strategy that was documented in 1997. It is known as the Project for a New American Century (PNAC). This is the official government site of PNAC: http://www.newamericancentury.org/. Basically, it is a strategy that outlines the U.S. /Allied efforts to maintain (and expand) military/ political / economical interests around the world, to maintain leadership status globally, and to occupy and transform key resource-rich regions around the world to reinforce their leadership.

In the year 2000, a PNAC government document was released titled Rebuilding America's Defenses http://www.newamericancentury.org/RebuildingAmericasDefenses.pdf. On page 51 of that document (not the pdf's page, but the actual document's page in the pdf file), it states the following "Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor."
