Can anyone please recommend items for Poser 4? All I own is the program itself. I am not an artist and am not looking to become Jeff over night! However, I would like to be able to at least begin some basic heroine poses. I went to the Daz Store but was overwhelmed with the available selections. I don't have a clue which figures/clothing packs/hairstyles and such to get. Do I buy Victoria 2 or 3? How about Stephanie or the Millenium Woman? My Mac has 256k RAM. Is that enough? Could one of you more experienced artists toss me a bone? A nice simple list would be preferable. Thanks. Oh, and how do heroine outfits like Jeff's come about? Does he actually DRAW his own? Yikes!
Ah, the problems of the non-artist...

If I were starting from scratch, I'd choose to get Vicky3 from DAZ and join the Platinum Club. There are a ton of great accessories you can pick up for two bucks each that way, and they're great quality. Most stuff coming out now is for V3, so she's the standard. She may push your syatem to the limit from time to time, as she's pretty high-resolution.
Poserworld (www.poserworld.com) has lots of great items that you can get for a one-time membership fee. A few of the merchants on Renderosity have started to sell things for really low prices, like Batlabs.
As a hobby, it can be really addictive. I dread looking at new models each week, and seeing my credit card statement each month, but some of the stuff out there is just so cool, I gotta have it!
