Sorry but I have been on the edge of my seat wondering what the update would be. Would it be Psionic? Would it be Rascal? Would it be page six of the comic? Would it be a casino update? I didn't know. I have to say though, that even though I never expected it to be Faith, I do appreciate it. Jeff, you really did the "warrior nun" thing very well! She looks yummy! None of my nuns ever looked like that! Mr. Whiting explores the Gothic realm...

With the revamp to Faith, what will become of the story already started in the unfinished first Justice Babes book? _________________ "Women are like Voltron. The more you hook up, the better it gets." |

The original "story" started was pretty stupid, and it was only two pages, so we decided to shelve those in favor of a new direction. We're still working on the current JB book (and the Rascal BOM pictorial at the moment), but Faith's story will develop in the background. It's a darker, more serious tale, and doesn't dip into silly things like some of the other work, so we'll see how it's received. Characters and sets are still being designed, so you'll see some pin-ups as test renders are done, and the story firms up. I think it would be neat to have the main team book running, and then a few pages of solo characters now and then, and see what the members want mostly once it's running.
The original concept was mainly a girl with a gun playing bounty hunter. She's still all of that, but there's a lot more depth to her now, and we could use a representative from the gothic corner of the comics world.
Thanks for watching!

I really like the direction your going with Faith. I would never turn my nose up at a good cat fight of course, but a dark, brooding, angst ridden character is always a welcome sight! |

I kinda miss the leather one-piece, but the new outfit's kinda cool. I think I could get into it. So to speak.
Those new sci-fi-goth gargs are neat, aren't they? Just spotted them on Renderosity. As well as an ad for some rather dubious VV clothing... I don't know why people seem to like that ring and strap down the middle. But oh well.
BTW, finally noticed the Oz reference in Sidekick Hotline #1. Neato. |
