I haven't answered it yet because of the choices we have. "Technically" speaking, I've never cheated any of my girlfriends but I have come pretty close on two occasions. One, my GF was out of town for a week. it was the first time we'd been apart and I was lonely and didn't know how to handle it. I started hanging out with some of her friends, who knew how much I missed her since I really had no business with them. One in particular was named Ann. We talked and laughed a lot and it made me miss my GF less and less. A few days before my GF came back, Ann & I were alone talking as I helped her type up a report. We were talking and laughing as usual when our eyes just met and we just stared at each other. We stared at each other for what seemed like a minute when someone walked into the room. We stopped, laughed it off (like "That was weird") and went back to work. We never spoke about what had happened. If someone hadn't walked into the room when they did, I don't know what I (or we) would have done. When my GF came back, I was overjoyed and never thought about Ann again.

The second instance was a few months after meeting the girl who soon would become my GF when I had a one-night stand with an ex of mine. My GF and I were just friends at the time so technically I didn't cheat on her but as we eventually got closer, I didn't feel guilty about what I did (although not guilty enough to tell her).

Ironically, both of my GFs eventually cheated on me (I don't know if it was karma or not). Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!! How do you think I should respond to the poll question?
