Ally how is it that Playboy never made you a Playmate? You're more beautiful then the alleged beauties they pick each month as their centerfold. I think it's the greatest injustice in the magazine that they never made you a Playmate.

I actaully asked this question in a chat a couple of years ago. If I remember right, Alley said that financially she didn't think opting to become a Playmate was the right choice for her. Once you're a Playmate, you're not allowed to shoot for anything or anyone else for the entire year and Alley felt that she could make a lot more money doing her own thing; like shooting for this website . So believe me, it's not as if Playboy didn't try, Alley just chose not to bite. She knew she was a fan favorite. She didn't need the Playmate status to solidify it.


P.S. Don't take those words as gospel. I'm pretty sure that was the case, but not 100% sure.

As far as I am concerned Alley could have been the top playmate of all time, the playmate of the century. I think it is playboy's loss not offering her a viable situation .

If ANYTHING, Playboy should do put out an all-Alley Baggett SE issue, featuring all of Alley's past shoots as well as new ones. It could also have an interview and a Q&A session where Alley answers fan's questions. There could also be a section where Alley could list her favorite shoots, photographers, and locations. Finally, there should be a contest in which some lucky fan could have the opprotunity to attend one of the shoots and, possibly, be able to shoot a couple of pics of Alley for the magazine...and maybe some for "later use".

Euh... what's the difference between the playmate and the others girls published in playboy mag ? And what brings specially the status of playmate ? Maybe my questions seem stupid for you (sorry ) but in Europe, playboy is only a mag like the others (even if the name playboy and the logo rabbitt are very famous but not the models inside)! Over hear, Playmates actually appear in Playboy magazines. Each month, one model is selected as Miss whatever the current month is, and she's declared a Playmate. At the end of the year, there's a vote for Playmate of the year. Whoever wins gets a heap of money from Playboy, but they can only shoot for Playboy the entire following year. Being a Playmate often opens the door to acting jobs, T.V. shows and book deals. A lot of Playmates have gone on to become famous celebrities. So being a Playmate over hear is very prestigious and rewarding.

Alley has never actually appeared in Playboy magazine as far as I know. She's only been in the Special Editions.
