"That's it!" He cried out. "Steadily encroaching darkness! Why didn't I think of that before?"

Xander scribbled furiously, taking a few moments before looking to the cause of the jostling.

"Thank you, whoever you are..." A quick glance brought him out of his trance. "Why, Miss Pinkamina, what a pleasant surprise!"
