I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the people of Norway and specifically the citizens of its capital Oslo and of the island of Utoya, where these attacks took place.
I understand from news reports that at least 11 people have lost their lives and I just wish to say that the thoughts and prayers of the British people are with them and their families tonight.

I believe that Ms Scorpia is herself Norwegian, and I hope that both Ms Scorpia, her new husband and their families are safe and well in this troubled time.

It's a real tragedy what happened. It's unbelieveable that people are capable of such horrible things.

Miss Scorpia is not Norwegian, BTW. She's Danish.

How could people do this? My thoughts and prayers go out to those who have lost friends and family in this attack. I wish I could do more for those people but this is all I can offer.

Damn it, this is makeing me sad and angery beyond beliefe. I hope that the investigators can find evadence that can lead to the culperates.

A 32 year old man has been arrested and charged with both incidents. It is believed he acted alone. However he does have connections to the far-right and fundamentalist christian groups. Total death toll so far is 91 dead.
84 of those killed were aged between 14 and 18. They were attending a youth camp sponsored by the Government.
