a rather tall and lanky cheetah was sitting alone next to a river while haveing a picknick and book next to him.

sighing the king cheetah strached and looked up at the couldless sky just enjoying the sun warming his body and the songs of the birds in the tree's

the male feline had picked a nice seclued area where not many visted so the likelyness of being distubed or botherd by the origanl goings on of the towns people was very slim

but also the scenry was indeed perfect as beyond the river was a snow clad moutain and behind the cheetah was a filed full of flowers

sighing again the cheetah sat back up and yawned but acutly wishing he did have a little company but due to how he looked it was rather diffcult for him to make any kind of friends

Michigan Atwater had left town earlier that day, the hustle and bustle coupled with the sexual tension that emanated from the place had become overwhelming to the shy little rat girl. Her loose fitting shirt, originally a man's undershirt that was in fact at least two sizes too big for the girl, fluttered in the breeze as she made her way through the flowers. One hand on the strap of her shoulder bag as she carefully maneuvered through the field, watching the ground to be sure she didn't trample any of the bright blooms that grew there.

When a bird darted through the sky over head , the rodent girl couldn't help but crane her neck to follow it's path. A whimsical smile permeated her maw until she realized that she was now trampling the delicate flowers she had been so very careful of not a moment before. With a gasp she stepped back, and onto another flower. Another gasp and she was spinning away from the second trampled bloom. Despite her hairless tail swinging in wide arcs, she was unable to maintain her balance and fell in the field with a defeated groan.

((a very nice first post very detailed im gonna enjoy rping with ya))

the cheetah sighed again and picked up his book and the sound of the river and birds singing calmed the cheetahs soul and seemed to clanse his mind of his past.

about to turn the page of his book his ears twitched as he heard a loud noise thinking it was a couple of lovers finding the quite place the big feline didnt wanna deistub them so he stood up and took a peek and was rather surpised to not see a couple but a single female who looked if she had just fallen over and his eyes gazed over and spotted the trampled bloom flower's

knowing it must of been an accident and more consred to know if she hurt her self the cheetah quitly walked up to her and offred her a hand.

"are ya all right ma'am? would ya like any help to get up and get away from the flowers?"

the king cheetah said in an austrlian mixed with a english londers voice

((thanks ^_^ hope i'm not too long winded! lol))

Michigan was scrambling to pull herself up as she heard the cheetah's approaching footsteps. At the sound of his voice and the hand offered to her, she looked up and could not help but utter a small gasp and draw her hand back away from the tall spotted predator at first. It was only a split second of reaction, and she hoped silently he had not noticed as she forced an embarrassed smile and nervously grabbed a hold of his hand.

"Oh, thank you. I think the flowers would appreciate that." the big eyed rat girl responded, looking down at her small hand nearly engulfed in his large paw.

Once back on her feet she brushed off the leaves and grass that had clung to her shirt, adjusting one side that had fallen off her shoulder. Michigan took in a breath to introduce herself when she realized that she hadn't let go of his hand yet, having held onto it for an embarrassingly unnecessary amount of time.

"OH! Geez! Sorry!" the girl exclaimed as she yanked her pink hand away from the feline, clutching it to her chest for a moment and finally looking up to the man's face, only meeting his gaze for a moment before her eyes darted away

((not at all i prefer long post's tehn just one liner's makes for more to work with and a better rp but im still rusty and this is a great way to get back into the rp state of mind so i do hope i am doing ok for you ^_^))

looking down the feline spoted the pulling away of her hand and heard her gasp but to the big cat was far to use to this kind of reaction from other people but h still held his hand out to help her like a gentleman should do.

as she grasped his hand and he very gently closed his hand around her's he noticed his hand was almost three times bigger then her's

"yes these flowers are very delicate and rear..." the feline then went quite as he just watched her then he gently pulled her to her feet with very little effet and found him self watching her brushing of the leaves and grass that clung to her rather large choise of clothing

lettng her hand be yanked away the feline tilted his head and gave her a small smile

"it's ok ma'am a long as ya not hurt my mind is put at ease.....? he went quite again as she gazed at him and her eyes darted away he figerd it was probaly his eyes that might hav done it and she seemed rsther shy

"well aslong as ya are ok ma'am i will leave you to your wonderfull day try not to get to disracted again"

the feline smiled and bowed for her before walking back to where his book and picknick was just being happy the rat girl was ok

(( Yes, i prefer long posts as well. ^_^ Short ones are nice for real time RP , but i rarely have time for that! You aren't too rusty for me ^_~ ))

Michigan smiled and nodded in response to his inquiry of her well being. She opened her mouth as if to say something as the gentlemanly cheetah offered her a polite bow, but no words came out.

A wash of relief came over her as the tall spotted gentleman turned and walked back to what he had been doing before. Michigan started to walk away again , but after a few steps she stopped dead.

(You always do this, you know. ) She thought to herself, glancing back ( You'll spend the rest of the day daydreaming about what you should have done , what you should have said. ... wondering how much of a fool you looked. )

The short girl rolled her eyes at her own inner monologue. "Fine, you win." she uttered under her breath, surrendering to.. well.. herself. "Just go up there and talk to him. What's the worst that can happen?"

(Robbery. No, wait!) Her inner monologue answered as she turned around and started walking towards the seated man and his book (OH MURDER! MURDER IS THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN! that's it. You'll just go talk to him, and the worst thing that can happen is you get murdered. No biggie, right?)

Before she realized it she was standing behind the tall cheetah, and startled to find herself there! With a sudden motion, she practically colapsed down into a seated position next to him, jutting one hand out awkwardly as if to shake.
"I'm Mitch." the girl proclaimed bluntly, pulling her hand back for just one moment to brush her hair out of her eyes before offering it again.

(( yeah i meen ya put all that hardwork into a long post then all ya get in return is one or two lines <_< ahhh thats good look like im not as rusty as i thought ^_^))

knowing the rat girl was ok the feline nodded and for a fraction of a sceound his eyes scaned her whole body and odd choise orf large clothing before he turned around and went back to his sitting area under neath a oak tree

woundering if she was really ok the cheetah pushed it out his mind and picked up his book again and his ears perked up as he heard the rat girl footsteps of depature

sighing again he stoped reading for a secound and admired the river then saw two fish lazily swimming by in the clear water andthe cheetah gave a small yet sad smile

"looks like even fish can find friends unlike myself...... maybe...." looking around the cheetah could see the rat girl and wounderd if he should call her over but decideing againt it as she was prolply busy the feline went back to his book

letting the songs of the bird and the sound of the river wash over him he lost him self in his book untill he suddnly turned around to see the same rat girl slupping down next to him in a sitting postion and offred him her hand

blinking in a surpised way he was about to shake her hand before she pulled it away and offred it him again

the feline tilted his head and looked at her and thought to him self *she's a bit of a odd one or just really shy but then i shoudnt be surpised i meen bon bon attacts these kind's fur's i meen i one of them*

softly smileing the huge feline gently took her small hand in is own large one and gave it a shake before letting go and clearing his thoaught

"my names link collins" the feline said hopeing he woudnt scarfe the small girl

"Link? Pleasure to meet you, Link." Michigan pulled her knees up to her chest, wrapping her arms around her legs. She found herself staring at his odd-eyes , cocking her head to one side in curiosity.

(say something!) her inner monologue screamed (You can't just sit here staring at his two toned eyes, it's rude! say something, girl! )
"OH! Uh, this is going better then I expected." She blurted out, desperate to fill the silence. "I mean, it's going awkward, and that's fine, but at least there's no murder!"

The rat girl laughed nervously before furrowing her brow and squinting her eyes shut. " Oh golly. I'm sorry, I'm just, you know... small talk? yeah, small talk.. I'm not so good at it." Her transparent claws tapped restlessly on the paint splattered fabric of her pants, she wondered if it was too late to escape and go hide in her room where she couldn't embarrass herself.

the huge feline just watched the small rat girl and blinked softly as she stared at his two toned eyes woundering to him self if she was indeed very shy the feline decide to look at the mountain beyound the river.

feeling slitly awkard then gave her a odd look at her next choie of words but decide not to say anything incase he freaked out the rat girl instead he pointed towards the mountain and smiled

"ummmm beautiful isn't it i always wounerd what it would be like to clime that mountain...."

the feline stoped talking as he felt rather stupid talking about the mountains he then just thought he might as well tell her she was safe around him

"ummm mitch if im corret i know i mayseem big and scary but ya have nothing to fear i will not and can't not ever hurt a lady in my life despite i may look like i will"

the feline said in a awkard voice before lookin away from her and fidegtin with the necklass around his neck

"What if we get attacked by a Lady? Would you hurt one then? I can't fight.... so we'll both be doomed." Mitch smiled at her little joke, dark blue hair falling in front of her eyes. She wondered if she was being a pest, and resisted the urge to bid farewell for the time being.

" Are you a mountain climber?" She asked, referring to his earlier sentiment about the mountain before them. Mitch glanced at it for a moment before casting her eyes towards the stream, the light glittering on the surface was entrancing.

the feline let a small smile apper on his lips at the mitch's joke and he slowly turned around to look at her

"no i would probaly fall pray to the lady but due to this town reputaion that wodnt happen as she would probaly offer me her servise and i would poilty refuse her offer"

enjoying the company of the rat girl the cheetah ooed towards the mountain andsock his head

"no i can't say that i am but it's always been an intrested of mine but wont ever happen"

smileing again he looked at mitch before his eyes trialed towards the river again

"well, I suppose we are both doomed then." Michigan responded in a matter of fact tone of voice. "Wait.. did you say you would refuse? That seems... I guess have developed a strange impression of this town, i suppose. Rumors and stories I've heard.. well, never mind."

She leaned foreword, overly excited and distracted as she noticed a fish darting beneath the shimmering surface of the water, sunlight dancing on it's drab gray scales. The short girl leaned back again after the fish seemed to disappear.
"Why couldn't you? Climb the mountain , i mean. You sound so sure that you can't. "

the feline leaned back and fall backwards on the ground and sighed before looking at the sky and weakly smileing

"i just havent found a girl that has intrested me yet but do belive me the working girls are indeed beauitful and enjoy at what they do but there just not for me."

the cheetah then sat back up and used his tail to pick up the picknick basket and ploped it infront of his feet before opening it with his tail

"i just dont have the free time i desire to clime it even if i wanted to being an entertainer is a very damndeing job espicealy the entertaining im know for"

smileing the cheetah reached forward and pulled out a sandwitch from the basket the looked at the rat girl

"i allwyas pack to much if ya hungery dont be afraid to help ya self mitch theres plenty in there"

looking back at the river the feline bite into his sandwitch and watched as two golden colord fish lazily swam by
