Just to let everyone know, I've got a bunch more pages in the works for the Justice Babes comic that will be up in the next few days. We're going to see Back Scratcher vs Pollinatrix.
I've also got the beginnings of Spreading Eagle for the JB Casino.
Stay tuned!

So let's see, this last week, we got 3(!) new dealers. (Strangely, they never handle the cards. Spooky.) And a wallpaper. And a few pinups. You know, I've taken a few art classes, and one thing I never learned how to do was to go fast... I'm amazed.
Ronald's been quiet lately. I wonder what he has in store. (Slaving over Shockwave code no doubt.)
In fact, Ronald, dunno if you've fixed this in the last coupla days, but I found a couple of bugs in the Breakout program.
The purple bricks turn yellow instead of red, and stay yellow twice before turning green. If you let the ball fall out, the once-hit yellow bricks turn red.
In a few cases, the ball seems to bounce weird. Instead of bouncing off the top of a brick, it'll go through it and the bricks beneath. It looks to me like collision detection is using the top of the ball in those cases, but I can't be sure, especially since I've seen it bounce off the top of bricks just fine most of the time. (This might be a feature for all I know.)
Finally, the game stutters to the point of unplayability on my home machine. Works smoothly on a different computer I tried, though, so it might just be a driver problem, or maybe Netscape (4.5 at home, I think).
Oh, and one of Flasher's pictures gets skipped. Oddly, it shows up in the next ten levels...
Anyway, just sose ya know. No rush; they're baby bugs. I'm much more interested in the battle game, personally...
Where da heck is everybody else? I've seen Phaedrus and Undine post, and nobody else. I'm having to blabber 3 times as much as normal to compensate.

Actually- I recently coded up the reward puzzle for the Jigsaw Puzzle, where it gives you a big high resolution image upon solving.
Been working on a new quickie game.... Another ball moving game....
I'll have to check out the breakout bugs. The studder might be a result of some local problem on your other computer. It could be because you're on a real slow computer - since the reward image is being loaded in the background while you're playing. The ball bounce behavior is a feature. The brick not changing color and not removing sounds like a bug for sure. I'll have to check out the picture skipping problem.
The battle game is definitely something to marvel over.... Going to be putting more effort into it soon.
I'll be posting some more information in the battle card game section about the game rules. Designs...
How the game works. Details on the game rules basically.
Not sure what's up with the other posters. Everybody's a bit quiet.

I'm adding the lettering to six new pages of the JB comic that will start showing up very soon. From what people have been posting here, I get the feeling that they would rather see quality over quantity, but I do want to keep stuff flowing in on a regular basis. There's always something new in the works, though, and I'll try to keep everyone up to date on what's coming. Hopefully you'll enjoy it. Haven't gotten much feedback on what characters people would like to see detailed out in the comic pages, so I'm left to my own preferences. I'm currently leaning toward a small Faith story, but requests will be considered!

Bug fixes: wow, that was quick. Thanks.
Stutter: it's definitely not due to picture loading, unless you're having the picture load a little every time the ball hits something. (Hmm. Maybe you are.) The stutter happens whenever the ball hits a brick, I think, and maybe when it hits a wall, too. Home comp is on a cable modem, the fast comp is on DSL, so maybe we have a winner here. The home comp also has only 40 megs of disk space free (plenty of RAM, though, no swapping), and hasn't had a defrag in a month or so, so I'll see if that helps.
Jeff: Yep, it's a fine line between high quality and ensuring the audience you haven't fallen off a cliff. As far as feedback goes, I'd give some, but I personally don't feel like basing it solely on the appearances and bios of the characters. If the backstories were expanded a bit, I'd have more to go on. Based on looks alone, I'd say expand on everything.
