the links are still broken. possibly they work for you only because it maybe cached on ur end. or 'sessioned' to allow you and only u to view because you have some permission to look at it via some href..
but the links i linked on above does not work...
they may have it href protected that does not allow people to click on it or hotlink to it.
in order to probably view those images people would have to go thru the front page of the site. and browse their site and click on the thumbs to get it to show up. posting direct links or hotlinking will not work.... (like i said it "appears" to work for you because you went thru the hoops and jumps alread. but if u clear your cache folder... you'll notice the links on the forum will be broken.)

so long as they work.... i'd prefer not - only because 6 months down the road from now.. there will be tons of broken l"images" all over that i have to fix... so i'd prefer not to have broken "images" on the site...
i had to go thru all of wildcards smiliefrom planet smiley or some other place and remove them all. it just doesn't look good for a forum to have broken images left and right...
if you post the link that is better. at least a broken link is not as bad. people will click on it. if it is not there. it's not there..... red X boxes on the pages is no good.
