"Will you stop telling me to ask people that?" A loud voice said. "I don't think people want things put there." The voice belonged to a German Shepard who appeared to be having a conversation with the air around him.

"Don't encourage him." The canine said.

"Oh, and what are you going to do?.... HAHA, Just try it.... Nobody asked your opinion on the matter.... Because I said so.... Don't you talk back to me...." The conversation continued as such.

As she sat, Abigail heard some talking close by.

It would not have bothered her so much if there was more than one person talking in the conversation.

She then looked to Alex and said "What is that gibber jabber I hear?"

Alex sat down and looked over at the German shepard then pulled out his notepad and looked it over. He looked back at Abigail "That could be another one. He's showing signs of schizophrenia, but it's too early to tell." he said still listening in on what the dog was saying.

The German Shepard had lowered his voice again, but he was still audible. He sat down at a table and waved over a waitress then ordered a drink.

"Not as pretty as the last one." The subject of the conversation had apparently changed. "Yes, I bet she would... That is rude, you don't just ask women that.... Yes I would like to see, but.... I'd probably get slapped.... Don't you start as well...." When the waitress brought over the canine's drink, he stopped talking, nodded to her, then continued. "Hehehe.... Maybe if I was a few years younger.... That's rubbish! Where did you hear that?... Roger! Why'd you tell Ted that?... It is not true!... Frank, stay out of this...."

"Erm, I'm willing to place a wager that it's a lunatic, even if it's not one on your list." She stared in amazement at the dog as he continued to talk away to what seemed like a group of people who weren't really there.

"I used to have an imaginary friend when I was a child but this is ridiculous!"

Alex listened to the dog as he said the names of three people. He looked at the notepad again "No, it's him. Voices called Roger, Ted and Frank. That confirms it." he said before looking at Abigail again "You can order now if you want. I'm going to have a little chat with our friend over there." Alex said.

He pulled a syringe out of his pocket and took off the cap. Hiding it behind his back, he walked over to the dog "Good day sir. Would you happen to know two men named Roger and Frank?" Alex acted.

Abi watched the two Act out their little struggle, it was proving that it would be challenging to talk the dog straight.

She watched while a waitress came over to serve her. Abi asked for some tea with one sugar lump, once she had it she went back to watching the two.

The German Shepard looked surprised.

"Really!? Well, I'm sorry, you must have the wrong guy; the only Roger and Frank I know are just voices in my head," the canine tapped the side of his head, "and they don't talk to anyone except me... because, you know... they're in my head." The German Shepard lifted his drink and casually sipped at it.

Abi thought for a while as they talked, then decided to get involved... It would be more exciting than sitting away and watching.

She walked over lightly and said to the dog.

"Excuse me for prying... But I overheard, don't you think you should seek treatment if you are hearing voices?"
