Max: Ah I'm almost positive that It wasn't me who set the place on fire, How could I? I was so smashed I could barely stand! speaking of which (Glug) AAAGH! (Coughs) My God... Where have you been all me life my love! *Downs more, still gagging after each swig

Nic: (Sets the drink aside) This drink has no class.

Max: Oh yesh it does my friend, It could turn a lemon inside out, this will have my Alcohol Blood level sky high in no time!

*moves next to the table, grabs a glass and pour herself a bottom (from Harvey's glass since Maxwell already grab the bottle). There is no need to exagerate. Catherine raise the glass to smell the aroma then takes a sip and winces. She quickly retake a more ladylike style before to talk.*

It's a strong stuff indeed but there are a light aftertaste of mineral probably because of an alembic in copper or some other contaminations. Also I won't call wood spirits a real alcohol and there are some inside. Also, by the taste, there are certainly also some esters. It's really pure but the taste certainly doesn't come from the alcohol.

*as soon she finished her speech she quickly grabs a another glass and her opened bottle of whisky and quickly drink a shot to clean her mouth from the moonshine. She showed off enough for now.*

Max: *Hic* I think the progressive effects of this beverage are having the adverse affects on my Blood Alcohol Content rather quickly Catherine despite what it is made up of. I'd say 0.07% B.A.C. already.

Nic: What a strange drunk you are Max.

Max: I never noticed you were unbelievably pretty before, Cat *Takes another drink*

Max takes a quick tilt of the bottle and sees that Alex wasn't lying, it was like liquidating sticks of Dynamite and sucking them up through lemon skin.

"Agh! (Max nearly falls to the ground as he lurches away) I am so going to die of alcohol poisoning tonight! Someone get me a candle and light it! Now please!

Max: Merely your body mass Harvey, it's not Genetic like me hah! you see *Hic* One drink has 0.5 ounces alcohol by volume, and seeing as yours was more concentrated I would assume the numbers are variable... BUT *Gags* considering your body weight and stature I would estimate that even after 10 of those glasses your B.A.C. would only be around 0.1 and you will only suffer Boisterousness, Slurred speech etcetera.

Shouldn't we follow him to be sure he don't hurt himself or die somewhere? I know that this place is nice but in my native country, drunkard usually die frozen after a leave when he drink too much. We discover back few days later or at the late spring when the snow begin to disappear. Beside, it's his house warming. I feel a little guilty to be here while he isn't.

Fran: I will go with him just in case.

Nic: Be careful, one time I did that and when I found him he thought he was in a boxing match, damn bastard chipped one of my teeth and ran off. huh.

Fran: Do not worry. (Fran leaves to go for Max)

Nic: Wow, he ain't even gonna sleep in his own house.

Nic: I usually drink finer than this seeing as Fran is French and he forces the wines down me in his restaurant. (Takes another quick drink, with the same reaction as last time) but this stuff's good as its own thing too. Not exactly a required taste though.
