history:when he was little he always wanted to be a knight he trained every day hoping one day that he would be a squire that day came on his 10th birthday he was so happy. when he saw his first tournament at the age of 12 he was so overwhelmed that he forgot to check the harness on his masters steed, during one of the jousting matches it came off and his master lost. he was savagely beaten almost to the point of death when he recovered for his wounds his master told him that if he where to become a knight he would have to stop acting like a kid and showed him how to use a long sword. at the age of 17 his master was hired as a body guard for a king when he was 20 he finally got his wish and became a knight. that was when Vince's father attacked and killed the king and every one in the village. luckily he was out on a hunt when the attack happened when he got back every one was dead he ran to his house hopping that his wife and kid where safe only to find his wife [word censored] and killed and the only thing left of his son was his skeleton (to this day he still dose not think that was his son's skeleton) he swore vengeance on who ever did this that was when he meet the generals witch she told him that if he where to pledge his loyalty to her master then she would help him find the ones that attacked his town, he eagerly agreed to her terms when they got back to the castle she took him to her magic chamber and started to use her to make him better than any one could ever imagine. she gave him the strength of 100 men, fur and skin that could stop bullets the speed of a leopard and the reflects of a cat. she also gave him a set of Gothic armor that was magically imbued with the power to heal any wound he might take in combat.
he still wields the long sword from his past as a constant reminder of his loved ones the new bastard sword he wields is a symbol of his new life and the weight it bears on him

that's why he has the long sword he cant remember exactly what happened but he can remember why he is where hes at

all the gods are kind of like that in a sense that way they will not rebel against the general because he is the one that has caused all the greef in there life the only one that remembers all of his past is Loki because the general really had no part in his life
