Dorian pulled out his pipe, and lit it. Throwing the match on the ground he steppe don it, and gently ground it into the pavement. Then sitting in a chair that sat in the front of the door of the dress shop he smiled.

"Ooh, so you're an archeologist? I've never seen one up close before!"

It was easy to say that the corsac fox's image of an Archeologist was the same as many others. A person with an explorers hat, a couple of boots, pickaxe and unintelligeable charts from another millenia.

"Oh Carm.......but still, an Archeologist? Here? Have you found anything worthwhile?"

The more worldly refined and experienced Wolf asked. It certanly wasn't everyday that you found someone of that profession in the streets of Bon Bon.

Jean's ear flicked slightly, hearing the other conversation of the group behind her, but kept her attention on the one in front of her. "Bits and pieces here and there. Most interesting place was Egypt, but here in Italy there are bound to be relics from Renaissance era." She said calmly, flipping through some of the pages in her book, vaguely focused on it.

Michigan stepped back a bit as the white mouse spoke, following the other rodent's gestures to the dresses as she spoke. A smile spread across her white blazed maw as she imagined the pearly white furred girl draped in rich burgundy and inky black cloth. Michigan barely heard the rest of what the lady said as she let her mind wander, subconsciously she raised one clawed finger to the paintbrush jabbed in her messy hair, touching it lightly as she wondered if she could find a place for the night to sit down and put this image to canvas.
(I think i have enough Wine-Red paint left to do a decent picture. White is so hard to shade though...) She thought to herself , completely phasing out the conversation around her.

Suddenly a trickle of pipe smoke licked her nose, making her sneeze and bringing her back to reality. She looked around, startled, and embarassed at her own daydreaming in the middle of such upscale company!
"Oh my, I'm sorry, what was that you were saying?" the ashamed blush on her cheeks was barely noticeable under the bluish fur of her face. "The blue and pink? It is quite pretty..."

-archeologist- The word stood out like neon as it floated from the conversation behind her, after all, she had just learned the meaning of it earlier in the day! The poor artist girl hazarded a glance back to the group for just a moment.

"Oh, wait, no! Kind sir, really, you don't have too..." She followed with a couple half-hearted steps after him in protest. Michigan stopped, wringing her hands nervously as she watched him through the glass. Her head snapped back , looking at the white mouse as if expecting an answer to some unasked question.
"I don't have the means to pay him back." She stated simply, as if this should explain her uncalled for trepidation on the matter. Suddenly she felt very unfit for the elegant company around her.

and still, some part of her experienced the giddy-ness of a child getting a new gift.

In a couple of minutes Dorian had bought the dress, picked it out specifically. had it boxed up nice and tidy, and a elegant dress had been bought for the fine young lady. Walking out with the box, he smiled and handed it to her.

"You need not worry about paying me back Madam, it was on me."

he said with a small bow.

Wolf suddenly began to chuckle. Out of all the things she was looking for, it had to be Rennaissance.

"My good gentelman, i understand that some find greet joy in philantropy, But i think it would be wise for the lady to try the dress out first to make shure it fits." The albino mouse said calmly and politely to Dorian, while also fighting the temptation to place the palm of her right hand to her own face. "Even a second hand store should have a changeing room for trying out merchandise." she said before turning to see the panic on the poor rats face. She couldnt help but sigh lightly knowing that the artest was fealing conflicting emotions. the same thing she would see in new costumers at her job. "My dear, at least do the gentelman the honor of at lest trying it on for the both of you to see how it looks on you." she said as she tryed to give the poor girl some incuragement.

"Oh, Thank you." She said meekly as the gift box was placed in her hands. Her ears were folded backwards as she stared at the waxy white top of the box, thinking of the garment inside. "Thank you" she reiterated with what she hoped was a grateful smile.

"Right now?" Mitch responded to the ivory mouse, her head cocked to the side like a confused dog. " Oh, I suppose, I mean.. yes, it's the least I can do I suppose."

Michigan took a few hesitant steps towards the door to the shop, pausing for a moment "They'll just have a dressing room inside, then? "

Minnie gave Mitch a nod as she gently leads the fancy rat to the changeing room. "Now, dont be afriad to ask me is you need help," Minnie said as she pulled the curtan aside for Mitch to go in and change. She her self wanted to see how the rat looked in the dress for her own reasons.

Mitch's eyes gleamed with the reflective beauty of the dresses they passed on their way to the dressing room. With a tentative smile she passed under the velvety curtain as Minni pulled it aside, holding her breath as if she were about to dive under water.
The skirt was easy enough, though at first she had put it on backwards. "Oh geese.." She mumbled under her breath as she turned it to face the correct way.
Now for the corset. Oh my. Double checking to make sure no one was watching from beyond the curtain, Mitch held the piece up to her midriff, tilting sideways to see a different angle in the mirror.
With a committal huff, she sucked in her breath and tried twisting her hands around back to tie the corset. After a few minutes of fumbling and cramping fingers, she had made a complete mess of the lacing.
"Oh... uh, um, miss?" She uttered as she poked her head from beyond the curtain, holding the curtain up against her chest to keep from exposing any part of herself. "I uh... this, these strings..." She gestured towards her back.

It was worth noting as well that Michigan had neglected to take off her pants, and they were visible beyond the raised fabric on the front of her skirt.

Minnie noded as she steped through the curtan to see what the rat was haveing trouble with. "Just stay still, and i will get this," she said as she slowly did the laceing the Mitch did before quickly laceing it properly. "Dont worry, every one trips over the corset part on ther first time." Minnie said as she finished the laceing in a bow as she looked at Mitch in the mirror. She Felt an urg to embrace the cute rat in her arms, but she decided agenst going to fast for the poor rats sake. "You look cute and lovely in it, thou you may want to take your pants off thou." Minnie gently said before leaveing the changeing room, and heading to the casher to see about the dark red and black dress she saw earlyer.

Michigan looked down at her dark , paint stained pants with consideration.
"oh yeah... I suppose so.." She muttered as the mouse left the changing room. With a defeated nod, the american-blue hooded rat girl tugged off the old cloth, folding it neatly into her art bag before hazarding a step out of the changing room and into the main store.

She could see the friendly gent who had purchased the garment for her through the store's window, and offered him a bashful wave.

"Oh, if only camera's were not so combersom to carry around. Becuase, I would love to have a picture of you in that dress." Minnie said with a smile towards Mitch. The mouse then grabed the box and walked over to Mitch, she then gently carested one of Mitches cheeks with her free hand as she looked into the rat's eyes. "You should have more pride in your self dear, Now if you are willing to wait a bit, i can show you around Dear Artest." she said before giveing Mitches other cheek a soft kiss before heading into the dressing room to change into the dress she looked at earlyer.

The blue rat recoiled at the touch, caught off guard completely.
"Oh, I, uh, Thank you? Yes, I uh, I'm new to town . I'm not sure where anything is yet, that would be very helpful thank-" But she was cut off by the sudden kiss to her cheek.
(Oh my.. I guess that's just how they do things around here? Oh goodness...) She thought to herself as she clutched her large artist's bag closer to her and considered putting her hand-me-down shirt on over her dress. She thought the better of it, not wanting to insult anyone , and began meandering towards the door.

((sorry this took me so long, had a lot of Easter-things and commissions to work on!))

Minnie finished getting dressed quickly and appered from behind the curtan. She saw the rat about to make it to the door as she sighed. "My dear, at least lets have the pleasure of know each others names before you go." she said as she grabed her purse and fished out a card. She then walked over to and handed the card to Mitch and said, "My name is Minnie Brandywine. Also, please dont forget my offer, and dont be afraid to ask me eny thing."

Distracted with my own thoughts, I open the door to the dress shop a little quickly, missing by inches the rat girl heading to it.

"Oh, damn! I'm so sorry! Are you hurt, miss? I was distracted"

Henk walked the streets of bonbon, he was in trouble.

Dunya wanted to be his wife, but to follow the traditions among there spieces, he had to 'fight' against a nother person who also wanted Dunya as a mate/ wife.

He walked into the bar and ordered a drink of juice.

" How in the world do I get a man or woman into a fiht with me that convince the priest to allow us to marry by tradition?"
