Aikita Yui stood behind a counter there were desserts laid out of all kinds, cakes, cupcakes, tea cakes, cookies, a 'you name it we got it,if we don't we'll make it' sign was hung outside on the door. She was wearing a very short and almost transparent white chinese dress with white flats. She was small for her age but her tail was very long and she cuddled it when it was cold out. She was snacking on a fruit she picked from her snack tray, she loved fruits and bamboo but her favorite dessert was a strawberry shortcake. A long the walls were paintings she had done of the mountains, the bamboo shoots near the river. They were pictures of her home in China. Her reminder of her happiness yet of the tragedy that took place there four years ago. She didn't look to sad though, she appeared aloof as she sat on top of the counter near the treats still snacking.

Maxwell was walking through town, a brisk walk as always to shape up for the coaching. Although he was definitely swayed by the shop he just passed, it looked to be a bakers store with many delights and appetisers for various sweet teeth. Max stopped and looked in through the window to see the eastern orientation of the shop. Interesting to say the least, but Max couldn't possibly afford to mess up with his diet... Although, he had messed it up several times this week already, and what would one more disruption cause?

Max shrugged and walked to the door, it seemed to be open so he walked on into the shop. There was an Asian panda in the shop too, apparently enjoying her own shop as much as the customers would.

Max cleared his throat and addressed himself.

"Ahem, I hope I'm not disturbing you missy. But I'm in he mood for a small snack, Perhaps a cupcake or two, Or something of that kind of thing." Max couldn't help but notice her outfit was far from discreet, but he tried not to make it blatantly obvious he was looking.

She got of the counter gracfully she lookced around the held up two trays. "For cupcakes i got, vanilla, strawberry and chocolate and other unique flavors." she showed him the other tray. "I also have finger cakes or brownies as some would call but they aren't....you know?" She had a distinct eastern accent but it was cute for her. "I have coconut, stawberry, chocolate and some fruit flavors if you are interested." She smiled. "And for some i have healthy snacks. Fruit salads, and sweet cakes made with fruit and even have whole fruit if you prefer."

Alex was heading towards the delight castle. He had his army fatigues on and noticed Max head into a shop and decided to get something to eat. He headed into the store and waited while Max ordered.

Max listened to the Red panda as she explained the different types of goodies she had to offer, and when he spotted a familiar face walk in, Alex, he gave him a friendly wave

His attention was grabbed by the mention of the healthy snacks.

"Well, the healthier ones may actually be more my thing then, Probably a better choice. But tell me about the sweet cakes."

Aikita bowed to the two men, she disappeared into the backroom and came back out with a tray it had different colored cakes and she smiled. "These cakes are made out of all natural ingredients, and i make the cream filling from the fruit and i bake it inside of the cake. then what i have left of the filling i put on the top with a slice of the same fruit i made it from. If you can not tell i love fruit." She smiled showing the two the snacks.

Max looked at the cakes and smiled, "Well the love definitely reflects in your delicious looking cakes!" he said before pointing out 3 separate cakes.

"Could I have those? they look really good."

Alex nodded to Max when he waved and watched the women go back then come out with a tray of cakes. He looked at cakes then listed as she spoke about what was in them "That's rather creative. And healthy too, what a combination." he eyed the cakes then pointed to one of the cakes "That one looks excellent, I'll take it."

She bowed her head and she took the treats and placed them in a small box and she smiled. "It will be only 3 per cake so that comes out to 9 of this town's currency." She looked to the new man who came in. "and that will be only 3 from you sir." She wrapped up his cake in a box and she sat them on the counter with her hand held out.

Max took hod of some florins in his pocket and counted out nine, handing them to the Panda he said "Thank you kindly Miss.. Oh and I'm Maxwell by the way, I dunno about my friend here but I doubt I've made your acquaintance before."

"Oh it is nice to meet you Maxwell, I am Aikita Yui, i am new to this town i arrived a week ago" She smiled and put the Florin's in her keep box and she smiled looking down.

"No, I don't believe I have met you before. I'm Alex." he said as he pulled three florins out of his pocket and handed them to her. He heard her say her name "Aikita, that's a beautiful name."

"Yup, Quite the nice ring to it! But I'm sure flattery comes in the mail to a nice girl like you so I'll stop embarrassing myself before I turn red" Said Max with a smirk.

She giggled and blushed shyly. "Thank you men." She looked down and wrapped her tail around her waist "So how is this town so far?"

"Well, it's quiet that's for sure. Good place to hide. Most people are friendly, exept the occasional drunk." Alex slowly looked at Max when he mentioned drunk and gave a chipper smile.

"Aw, and the towns been good to me, But shall we say "Sleazy" in a more uptight, condescending way, which is fine I suppose."

Max then took a smug and playful look towards Alex, "Ahaha, Sure I told you I was going dry didn't I? No more booze for this fella right here!"

"Max, not drink! That'll be a sight." Alex said with a chuckle before turning back to Aikita "So, Aikita, how's the town been to you?" he asked with a smile.

She was slightly confused, she didn't know Maxwell so she wasn't to focused on his not drinking. "Oh it has been fine, a bit strange here but fine." She said to Alex. She got herself a strawberry and snacked on it

"Well what brought you here in the first place? You look as though you're from a long way away from here, if you don't mind me saying." Said Max as he sneaked open his box and took out a sweet cake.

"Tragic tragic times in China...." She started to pace looking down, both bothered and saddened. She stopped infront of a picture of a lovely house in the mountains. "I lived there all my life...then...they just ruined it...and they hurt them...."

Alex noticed something was wrong "I'm guessing it was your family." He walked up behind Aikita and looked at the picture "Your home is beautiful. I'm sorry to hear something happened."

Max looked worried suddenly, "I'm Sorry, I didn't mean to conjure up bad memories. It hurts to leave your home behind, I know."

She shook off the bad feelings and she sighed softly she walked behind the counter where there was a picture of her family hanging up. "It's fine, i know my mother would never have it any other way. Even if it didn't happen I would still have opened a shop and all would be fine."

Max then sighed and rested his hands behind his head.

"I suppose Everyone has a story to tell of home and family. Whether they care to share is the defining line that, I would not know whether to say it is foolish and the brave. I suppose it's who you share it with."

"Well it is my lunch break now...." She grabbed the key to the shop and she stepped outside waiting for them so she could lock up and go get real food to eat.

Max quickly straightened up and grabbed his box of cakes, heading outside and motioning to Alex.

"Miss Aikita? If you're not too reluctant of us yet, perhaps we could accompany you to wherever you are going. I think it would be swell to get to know you a bit more."

She thought about it. "I do not know of places to eat, might you show me the best place to eat." Aikita wrapped her arm around Alex's and smiled to Maxwell

Max looked down the street and let out a sigh. "I would recommend Fran's Finest, But he closed up and left for Paris So I'm out of Ideas."

He pointed to the boarded up restaurant and shrugged.
