I'm glad someone else brought this up first, it would have been foolhardy and meaning less if I had done it. Me & Xivk have been trying hard to think of ways and ideas to get all the members that have been disappearing to come back. We even sent Ron an email 2 weeks ago with an idea but he hasn't gotten back to us @_@

But If anyone could tell me the reasons that some of these people are disappearing , it would be greatly appreciated

Symphony ( yes i know she still pops in from time to time, but I would still like to know the reason or reasons she is not as active)

I know some people would rather not talk about why they left , but I want to try and grasp what the issue is. I hope I'm not being rude or getting on anyone's nerves , I only have the best intentions to learn from this knowledge

As an all-knowing vixen, I can shed a few lights on things...

Symphony: This is a pretty obvious one, as she's stated her reasons herself before departing. She just doesn't care for many of the more recent members and the derailment of discussion and badly written impromptu roleplay popping up everywhere.

Labrn: Probably similar to Symphony in a way, but also he's always been something of a member who only swings by once or twice a month. I gather from my own correspondence with him that there is precious little he wants to say.

Mystic: She always came in waves like Labrn, but these days she is quite preoccupied with personal obligations. More than that, I don't think it is my place to say.


Sadly, I have no information regarding the others. I quite lament Johnny's disappearance in particular.

I would still like more information from everyone on the other missing members, as well as more details about the ones already discussed. Remember to include members that lack a Vanessa avatar and have also gone missing. I don't know much about the other members that came before me, so if there is someone you think is worth mentioning , please do.

I want to know all that I can , maybe then I can brainstorm some better ideas or plans to draw back our wayward members ^-^

But just to clear , I DON'T CARE TO KNOW ABOUT THE MEMBERS THAT JOIN JUST TO GET THEIR AVATAR THEN DISAPPEAR NEVER TO BE HEARD FROM AGAIN.

This forum seems somewhat divided between general discussions and RPs. It's not really that surprising that some members would only visit every so often, they tend to be the ones that mostly just discuss things. RPs tend to require a bit more dedication to the forum and so this could result in those people that know they are not going to be around much to not even bother taking part in them.

I can understand the distaste for some of the RPs, not everyone is the best at writing and the options are a bit on the limited side.

Then there's the real life factor, some people just aren't able to get on to the forums alot. Take Loretta for example, she's currently on hiatus because she is doing schooling.

Other's may have just grown bored with the forum in general and sort of stopped coming back without really deciding to not come back.

There are a lot of things that can attribute to someone leaving and in reality there is not a whole lot one can do to keep it from happening.

I do miss everyone, especially the key players when they disappear. As for roleplaying, I just learned that I would'nt be able to make a commitment towards something and make everyone disappointed. I simply try to add towards the conversation and make myself more accessible for people to talk to. Still, I know I don't write as clearly or as lengthy as my senior members do, and for that I am sorry.

Unfortunately I have not been as active lately as well. School takes a lot of my time. It also takes up all of my money. I will have to wait to see all of the recent comics and games.

I thought Symphony's case was due to no longer having a membership to the main site anymore, and only usually posting comments in threads related to the comics, which would no longer be as plausible without of course being able to view them.

Tex, Ketsudan? I don't even recall seeing him but once or twice and I've been here longer than you!

As far as Johnny, the investigation is ongoing. Wherever he is, one thing is certain: You will never get that hat away from him!

As far as cheesecaked...I hate to say it, but I'm not sure I care too much on his part. If he leaves, there might be a noticeable lack of new threads popping up, which I for one would enjoy a little.
