Okay, I guess I never really mentioned much other than maybe the idea that he would be a fox, but here, I'll post a little bit about him.
Name: Runai Kaltsere (Roo-nye, Kal-sair)
Age: 20
Eye Color: Emerald Green
Height: 5'9
Weight: 159lbs
Gender: Male
Orientation: Straight
Species: Obsidian Black Fox
Job: Works by season
Spring/Bodyguard
Summer/Linguist and Symbologist
Fall/Harvest Farmhand
Winter/Free Season
Weapon of Choice: A single straight edged saber. The thickness of the base is tripled of that of a normal sword, using a series of interlocking latches that are seamed along the inside of various segments of the blade, allowing for it to be collapsed in multiple fashions. This allows for all manner of combat regardless of the location, from close quarters in a confined area, to the wide open streets where space is not a hindrance.

Its alot like the second from the bottom in this picture, but just that, not the whole diagram, though the concept is derived in an idea where the blade contracts into a denser, yet smaller blade and visa versa.
Personality: Runai is a quiet, and down to earth kind of person, unless spoken too, showing a great deal of respect to his superiors and those who show even the slightest amount of kindness towards him. Exudes a great amount of restraint to show any emotion during his job, although it is very difficult. Between gigs, he is quite friendly and outgoing, showing loyalty to those he chooses to serve. He believes in the great eastern beliefs in karma and respect.
Hobbies: Studying foreign languages, symbology, practicing with his 12 Hole Tenor Ocarina.
Biography: Runai grew up with his only parent and merchant father whom he often traveled with in Eastern Asia until the age of sixteen when he died of a malicious disease. Without a means of continuing the family trade, he hires himself out towards various jobs, both to learn and to better himself for any situation. While versatile, he has three favorite jobs, determined by the heat of the season. A farmhand during the harvesting season, a bodyguard during the planting season, while studying as a linguist in the fall. He soon found himself settling in the town of Bon Bon further in the west, working full time for multiple jobs for multiple clients.
Sexual Experience: Zero, Zip, Nadda. With all that Runai experienced, the thought of any sexual activity never passed his mind. Even then, he questions himself based on the concept that he may or may not enjoy it, though he is often tempted with great zeal. He can be affectionate given certain situations.

The setting is basically a furry-version of Earth, in the year 1895. Some leeway is given with the history, but most of us more "hardcore nerds" try to keep things as historically accurate as we can when we create fursonas, roleplay scenarios, or fanfictions.

I'm not entirely sure how popular the name was in 1895, but I do know that Cletus (a variant of the Greek "Anakletos", meaning "summoned") was at least somewhat popular around the start of the 20th century prior to the 1930s. These days, characters in fiction named Cletus tend to be rural, backwoods, or "hillbilly" types. That wasn't my intention for the character in my story, but I figured it was a name that wasn't used very much these days, so it would fit.

Well, you're right. I'm pretty sure that if any mother named their son Cletus, that child would kill her, and rename himself Max, or Mac or something.
