Thanks to all the artists that up to now contributed with a fan art for PBB! We already got quite a few names in our pin up gallery: Opal Weasel, Greycat Rademenes, Dennis Pawers, Brothers Grinn, Bittenhard 
Some of them asked me by E-mail the color palette for the characters; therefore from the next week I'll put in the palette for the most requested characters in the Work in Progress area: William, Mary, Betty, Violet and Daphne. This way you'll have ready the color sets.
The rules to see a pin up you did in PBB are easy!
Send me your picture and I'll convert it in the standard format for the pin ups and pages, adding URL and logo. Don't forget your signature and the name of the character with the (C) of the author ^_^ !
You'll be able to show your fan art in your galleries and send it to friends... not the version with the logo, please, but instead put the name of the site in the fan art or its description yourself.
Feel free to draw any character, even a comic strip or page! Or, why not, a fan fiction with your characters together with the ones of Bon Bon! Have fun!

For whoever doesn't know what we're talking about, our friend Greycat is drawing a short story, a comic-fanfiction!
I don't know what it'll be about, it'll be a surprise for everyone, but I know that it'll be a good job because Greycat is a young promising artist. This is his gallery:

I'm on a good way too!
I'm almost done with the first page. I must admitt studying Vanessa's technique (pasting separate pictures as comic frames) improved my work by a lot!
I'll show you some sketches and stuff really soon!

As you can see in the work in proggress gallery Greycat has started a fan comic for PBB, featuring Stella, Betty and Greycat of course! I belive that his comics will be very funny, because his style is nice and humoristic! I like it! I can't wait to see it!
About Duo2nd, I must say you thank you!
I have found by myself a very nice pictures , and I didn't know who was the artist...until this moment!

Willam is soo cool!!!!
He remembed me a character of an old anime that I loved in my infancy, Candy Candy. William is like Terence, the beautifulst guy which Candy ( and me too  ) loved!

I want to thank all the artists that are busy drawing homages for PBB. Recently they were joined also by Herisheft, Karine, Krystall-for-ever, Brightangelchii, Duo2nd, LabrnMystic... you're really a lot, and full of enthusiasm! What's surprising for me (and that makes me happy) is that you all proposed yourselves, and this is the sign that you like PBB's characters a lot and you want to draw them and doing it makes you feel happy!

hi people, im sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but i was wondering, how to do the lighting effects and such, is it just dodging and burning or is it painting the actual colours..?
(i have a little experience with painting textures for models, but usually not organic, and not pictures)
also does any of you know of good tutorials explaining the whole making 2D into 2.5D (lighting, shadows and such) |

hmm.. i just played around with one of the WIP's where they have two pages next to eachother one flat and one thats completly finished.
i managed to get the flat one somewhat close to the original after playing around with the settings for my dodge and burn tools, only thing is that i couldnt seem to get the same crisp edges, mine a very blurry
i wont upload it though since its quite probably very much copyrighted
so i kinda answered my own question myself ^^  |

I was just curious. I have an etch or two of my character that I would like to send to you. The only thing is that they're hand drawn and scanned onto my comp. (I don't know where or how to get one of these comp. design programs.) Is that a problem?
