Was it not Mary's father who forced them apart? Perhaps due to the nature of Betty's business. Though, perhaps it had something to do with what Betty had to do to become the Queen of the castle.

We know Edelweiss took her in, but what gave her top billing over the rest? If it was the final favor Mr. Blue did for Edelweiss before her banishment, wouldn't that cause resentment toward Betty from the rest of the workers?

Is/was there a poll about which and how many gals William would get to be with or is it fully a surprise? Perhaps it could be the new thing that takes the strip tease's place, similar to the animation:

1) A character gets nominated (once you've been, you only get to once, or so much time must elapse before you can return to the voter pool) to be in Williams shoes.

2) A vote on how many and which partners/girls will be involved.

3) Either another series on what the image will contain, or perhaps it can be a sequence of events just like the strip tease, going from the meet and greet, foreplay, sex, and finale!

Dear readers, I'm writing to thank you all as always for the support to PBB and to tell you that there will be a few changes in the upcoming chapter 15. It's an "experimental" situation due to some realizations and evaluations. Therefore in the future Chapter 16 could change further and go back to how things are now.

Currently I'm no longer able to color, I can't go into details but really for some time I won't be able to color the pages of PBB. This is very frustrating, I'd like to accelerate the story of PBB, I'd like to tell you more things and go on with a greater rhythm.
The idea I had for this chapter 15 is to do it like a manga, black and white with textures, like the pages of Dillinger but with this much larger format.
Before reaching hasty conclusions, I'd like to explain what would be the probable advantages of this experiment.
The first is that you'd have more panels in each page, now I'm forced by the coloring (that takes really long times) to draw from four to five panels per page. Because the more panels I do the more panels I have to color! If I draw four panels I color four William, if I draw six the Williams become six and I need at least two more days! It's the coloring that limits my drawing.
If the comic will be black and white I'll be able to do from five to seven pages. More panels, more story!
The second advantage is the speed of publishing, rather than one pages per two weeks the story would be one page every ten days tops and soon will return one page per week ( as soon as I got the right rhythm) .
More pages, more updates!
The third advantage is that I can resume the comic "GTF" (always IN COLOR), that for the very same problems in coloring I had to interrupt. But if I save time with PBB I can resume GTC.


I hope with this experiment to hasten the story of PBB and offer you more entertainment and rhythm, with the objective of regaining a weekly cadence.
I want to clarify that it is an experiment. This means that there will always be a chance in the future for me to color some special pannels of PBB as an update!
For example, if a page Mary has a new dress can give you extras like the color version of that single pannel. Same for the Royal members appearances!

So by chance there will be updates of colors pannels as a surprise.

Page 2 will arrive very soon and it has 8 pannels in manga style.

Thank you for communicating with us Vanessa. If the shift in style works and helps you out, I'm sure I speak for most of us when I say fantastic. It's sad that we won't be able to get color pages, but personally I'd rather have more of the story anyway.

I agree with Jerin. If I had to choose between black/white = faster story or color pages = slower story, I would choose the black and white pages. That's how much I love the story.

While I admit, I'm on the side who's willing to wait a bit longer for the awesome art (I love your color themes, especially when you do costumes and dresses), if it's suits you better I'm ok with this issue being in BW. Especially since you mentioned more GTC will be comming.

Also, if I may suggest, after thigs get clearer, you can take few pages and color them (a'la X-Ray pages) for the Royal section.

I know how it is when things get rough, so I wish to you that experiment will work out for you >^^<

I'm with Greycat on this one. I won't deny that I like the coloured pages more (not to say I dislike the greyscale manga style), but I understand that many things are subject to circumstance and sometimes one must sacrifice in order to achieve the overall. I'm not unfamiliar with the desire to get a good story told, so I think I have an idea of how you feel there. I'm also well aware of how much work it can be to draw and colour just a single image, let alone several. It takes time, and time is not something a lot of people have an exceeding abundance of, considering what else needs doing in the day. That being said, I fully support whatever platform you feel works best for you, V. After all, it's not the story that is changing, or the one telling it, just the medium used to convey it.

Such a change, after 14 issues, is a bit... off-putting, but I have no doubt that the feeling of displacement will quickly be put aside as we grow used to the changes and continue to enjoy the important thing, the story.

I wondered why the pages were black and white. If it helps you out in both the short and long run, go for it.

I found the cover to be quite silly. And from the looks of things, William's "stamina" will be put to the test. Given what he had to go through, I wager this will be a welcome release.

I'd like to be a dissenting voice in the matter.

Before I go any further, how ever you choose to advance your world, I'll still follow and support. Shoot, I've been doing so for years now (even when I had zero access to be able read any of the story).

For me, the regular, albeit slow, updates never bothered me. I enjoyed the fact that you took the time in both the story and the art. So, while sometimes there would be 2 weeks or so between updates, I never really noticed. Shoot, I often just go back to the old comics, pin-ups, and fan art anyway.

For me, the fact you take the time to fully color your art, shows your care for the characters, mythos, and world you have created. I enjoy the pastel-Easter pallet you use. It adds to the glamour, enchantment, and absorption of the tale you weave. You can draw-ink an amazing black-and-white dress; however, you have such a good eye for color and fashion that your color work is astounding.

So... for me at least, I would state that you should not swap out the coloration of your work in favor of speedier updates. I'd rather have slower updates that fully let you explore your creative talents.

Hi! Hope everyone had wonderful holidays!

Love the new page.
However at the same time I feel it helps me illustrate my problem with at least some pages being in black and white.
The page with Betty and Marry talking looks much better in my opinion than the one with William and the girls. The problem I had with the first page is that it came out too bussy in my opinion and it took me a while to tell the girls apart (that's where the color themed clothes and even fur come in handy).
On the other hand on page 2 we have Marry and Betty nicely separated from each other and the background with contrast and our eyes are drwn to them.
Like I said before, like Caroline, I was ok with slower updates and really liked the color and I hope it comes back. At the same time, I'll support your decision, especially if it's something that pushes you up the wall.
And if anything I hope that my voice will help you as supportive criticism.

I am honest, I am really much motivated with these new pages that the latest done in the last issue. It 's the truth. Because as said Greycat I started with the first page a little skeptical and I was rusty on the application technique of texture in manga style. But with page 2 I felt really in my shoes and with this new page 3 I think I am on the right way! Page 2 will be replaced soon because I fixed someting.
