Well everyone, I feel repetative in appologizing for my absences as of late, but over the summer, my duties here had me shipping out to a coast guard cutter north of here and filling a billet while they were short handed. As thus, I've been rather busy, so to speak. But alas, I finally return, and eve in one peice, just in time to come back to the slow season at the base. Glad to be back, and look forward to seeing you all in the boards. Once again, I appologize _________________ BonBon Spirits and Sidearms

Glad you asked Xeb. Good to see you as well by the way. Well, the whole reason they were short handed was actually due to the recent destruction from hurricane Bill. A lot of major ports on the east coast took some heavy damage, so they had the 87' I was on doing some security patrols as well as relief efforts on shore. Thankfully though, it was nothing extreme. Nothing like Katrina was, that's for sure. _________________ BonBon Spirits and Sidearms

I'm guessing there's not much pirate activity further North. So I take it nothing exciting happened? And that that's probably a good thing, right? _________________ I like old jokes. With them I know when to laugh. |

Ahoy sailor
Soooooo.... I suppose this means you'll be spending all that hard earned Coast Guard money in drunken debauchery for the next few, days? Yeah, I know, lame joke.
Sorry, it's not often you get to use the phrase "drunken debauchery" |

Welcome back, sailor. I think you're a bit more waterlogged than you might realize, though. You do realize you squish when you walk at the moment, don't you? _________________ Silentium est aurum |

Well, thank you all again for the kind words of welcome.

Why, I haven't the slightest clue what you're reffering to. What would ever give you the impression I would hang around getting drunk off my pay? (takes a long sipp of the glass of jack on the desk next to him) Why, that's downright outrageous.

I suppose I could say the same my friend. (slides the bottle down)

So that's what that was! Thank you, I was beginning to think that I had gotten to the point I could actually hear the water in my head sloshing around.

*Lidia grabs Ferinton's tail from behind and tugged his tail to get his attention.*
*When he turn around, the young ferret quickly poked his nose and smile.*
