I've seen a couple of members talk about other fursonas or characters they have, so I thought I'd make a thread for people to share some information about them. For example what they would have been like if you had chosen one of them as your avatar/fursona here.

I have, both before and after coming up with my fursona for this site, thought of two other possible characters. One was a vixen and was quickly discarded, as it would have looked too much like a character by another artist.

The other character was a much more serious candidate for a fursona. She would have been a cow woman. I never really developed her as much as I did with Constance, but she would have been different in a couple of ways. First off she would have had a different body type. She would have been softer and less athletically built than Contance, with wide hips and a big round butt. She would also have had a less glamorous occupation, as she would simply have been se´lling pies and cakes at the market in Bon Bon. I imagined her as a nice brown Jersey cow, so she would have had similar colors as Constance.

Ultimately I just went with my first thought of a mare, as she was first, and because I had more ideas for her.

So I don't have many. In fact I'd say that I only really have two, of which only one has been fully sketched out with details and such. At some time I'd like to put some work into developing my bovine lady, whether it's just a name or something as detailed as what I did with Constance.


So does anyone else here have different characters, and what are they like? Were any other considered for your avatar here at Bon Bon?

Evan was my first thought when i thought of a charicter set In Bon bon's era. Thou i did get an idea that i would use for an Minor charicter.

She is a cheetah who came to Europe from Sierra Leone to Apply her education. she meet a man and fell in love with him, so decided to move some wher togeather, or so she thought. As she boarded the train heading for Bon bon, her lover left her on the train as he took anuther train with her money. Thous she ended up in Bon bon pennyless and heartr broken, and turned bitter and cinical.

She would have been a maid at a minor hotel (seens she doesnt want to deal with men eny more than she has to.) thou i was hopeing that she could be applyed both to comical and dramatic moments. Thou i hoped that who ever used her would use her miss trust as well as well as her dislike of her lack of breast size (size A, thou it came with the Lith build.) The problem is that i couldnt figure out a name for her yet. thou i do hope that some one can do a dramatic peice of trying to help her trust agean.

I had a second possibility myself, for my Bon Bon fursona. He was a Roma, or "gypsy" for those of you more familiar with that term.

I have created and roleplayed several different characters in the past (most of them in the same game I created Tadelesh in), but none of them were really candidates for my fursona/avatar here. Tadelesh was my most recent one; I hadn't used any of the others for almost a year before I created Tadelesh, as I took a long break from roleplaying, having realised I was addicted and needed to "get a life". Some of them I used so briefly that I cannot remember much about them; one or two, I can't even remember their name. If I were to use any of them, I would likely have to recreate them like I did with Tadelesh.

My first ever roleplaying character was a winged human; I would likely turn him into a bird if I were to use him again now. His name was Mykal, and he was a Paladin (holy knight) - that I would have to change, too. My second, and one of my favourites, was Slider; he was similar to an elf (not sure what animal he would be if I recreated him), but loosely based on Strider (Aragorn), from Lord of the Rings. I would probably work on his name, too. Another of my favourites was Asmodeus; it's difficult to picture him in Bon Bon, as he was, for want of a better comparison, like a ninja assassin; for his species, he was an aquatic creature, so something like a newt or perhaps a salamander.

That's just a small selection; I think I'll leave it there, though.

I'm constantly writing up new characters, for stories and what-not, but I've had, at one time, about 4 different fursonas going at the same time while I was a frequenter of a certain furry chat site. They included: a laid-back werewolf, an intellectual space chimp, a hyperactive jackalope with cartoon-like powers, and a wise and mysterious spider anthro with angelic powers.

Out of all of those characters, the only one I ever considered for a BonBon avatar was the jackalope, and he very nearly became my fursona until I decided instead on taking a coyote fursona. Instead, he's metamorphosized into a different character in my fursona's backstory.

I've had a number of characters over the years for various scenes.. Captain Merriwether was my attempt to create a period themed character for BonBon, who shared enough traits with my personal avatar that I'd be comfortable. If I were to build him again, I would probably change a few things, but I did enough research to do the basics (indeed, I felt like contributing a steamship thread, but maybe I just posted the main research link I found? I don't recall).

Anyway, 'Tursi' the lion is my main character, and he's pretty much the same, though generally wears a lot less. He's mostly OOC and is essentially me as a lion, since he doesn't carry his own backstory.

I've had a number of other characters... the ones I enjoyed the most would include:

-Jumoja and Jakobi - quadraped lions in the Lion King universe for TLK Muck (at different times, and with very different personalities)
-a semi-morphic dolphin unoriginally named Flipper (who precedes my interest in lions)
-Danur, a young hyena originally created for the Lion King universe, who a friend of mine adopted and developed into a bi-pedal character in her own story universe, and then I adopted the new version of him back
-A fennec fox thief named Silas, who was strongly intentioned after Sly Cooper but set much farther back in time (our new story Raccoon Business makes me miss him very much )
-and I have played three fairly different incarnations of Scar, who, while not an original character, came out very differently in each world. In one, we loosely followed the storyline, but my Scar ruled half the Pridelands. In the second he did live his evil life, but was not killed, I picked up the character in his elder days, and had him try to make amends. In the third, he never truly became evil, but rather suffered massive live complications from his insane but doting mother. This is the storyline we've recently picked up and ran against Dr Who.

Yeah, lots of Lion King. I have other characters who either made a smaller impact on me, or who aren't quite public as I'm still feeling them out.

Tearlach is my main fursona, though some times I roleplay his sister Talitha who is a widow in the Bon Bon setting. Talitha and her Husband Leto would make love to the sound and rythym of the nearby church bells every Sunday morning. Talitha maintains that if the fire engine had not gone pass the window when it did, leto would still be alive today!

Ewan was chosen as my main fursona due to him being a representation of myself as I would like to be.

I had a second character, a red squirrel by the name of Enzo "Luck" Rossi. His story was that he was a member of a New York based crime family, organized crime, mafias, that fun stuff. After performing a massive robbery, from a large bank that holds the money of a rival gang, the Rossi family severs ties to New York and quickly retreats back to Italy to lie low. It would have been easy to make Luck turn to come to Bon Bon in an attempt to shake any possible pursuers.

I really like him as a character, and hes a lot more fun to role play as, but I didnt think his story was very appropriate nor did the timing was very good. His character would be more appropriate in the 1930s, not the late late 1800s.

I write a few characters at any given time. Often as not, they begin as one-off NPC's who just develope a life of their own, and next thing I know, I'm drawing them and they get their own story work in the games and RPs I do. Lessee, current roster:

My usual fursona/avatar/whatever is Eryq Skylore (pronounced as Eric). Originally he was creared in a medieval setting as an arctic fox (http://www.camelotmuck.com/muck/imgs/skylore.jpg). He's stayed with me over the years, becoming more and more modernized, until he became completely revamped as a science fiction themed character (http://shamoncornell.deviantart.com/art/Skylore-51186245). He's one of the central characters in the story I've been trying to write for several years now (sometimes I wonder if I'll ever actualy get it done but, c'est la vie). My main descision not to use him as my pseudo-identity here was his personality has become inexorably intertwined with his sci-fi nature (he's a "Fighter Jock" and proud of it). His species changed from being an anthropomorphic Terran animal into extraterrestrial (i.e. he's an alien), not to mention that he could be accurately labeled as a cyborg, despite his appearance. There's also the matter of his quasi-alternate personality (actually a rogue A.I. originally inspired by the character "Id" from the PS1 game Xenogears) but that's getting off topic. Suffice to say he's no longer the kind of character that fits in Bon Bon.

Rather than try to adapt Skylore, I decided to go with a new character. I'd originally created Xebulon Burke as a character for a steampunk themed story I was trying to write. The story fell flat on it's face but not before I had adapted Xeb to fit into the Bon Bon setting. A simple adjustment from being a scholar of the arcane arts to just a scholar and a few tweaks to his background and voilà, he's ready to go.

I had actually considered using one of my other fursonas for a short time, but I decided against it only because of his certain "pysical attributes".

His name's Ox (see if you can guess his species). I pretty much created him for one of my books as the gentle giant character, as he is a rather tall, rather burly built tough guy who has the heart that couldn't hurt a fly.

But even with that said, Feingo has seen several different faces before as well. He's always and arctic wolf, but his personality and traits have changed so many times, I don't know as I can remember them all. One thing that remains the same through all of them though is that I try to incorporate a little of myself into him every time.

Evan, I like your cheetah girl. I would have loved to see her drawn by Vanessa, as cheetahs have an interesting fur pattern, and I haven't seen that many anthro ones. I also like your idea for her story.

Feingo, that Ox character of yours would have been really good as well. I'd like to see a bull character appear in the comic. Okay, there's another one already at a poker table, I believe, but I'm thinking of up close and possibly in a sex scene.
